The only reason why it gets two stars is because it lets you see where the bikes are located (which you can also see on google maps). But the app is super slow, needs a lot of data, is not easy for on the go quick checks, you have to wait for it to load, even if you have unlimited data, it still loads slowly. It doesn’t let you unlock bikes or pay through the app, so if the bike station has the main screen damaged, you cannot unlock the bikes from your app instead. You’ll still have to walk to another station because the app doesn’t do much. Also, their Ads are not best in class, so I imagine the way they are adding ads to the app is also probably causing latency and making it slower. You need a better webmaster.

Before the app was clear more detailed. It showed how many bikes are available and how many miles can you travel on each e-bike. Now you have to pray that you won’t get stuck on the street with a e-bike that lost it’s charge. If this doesn’t change I’m canceling soon. Maybe I should invest in getting my own e-bike.

This app CHEATS YOU AND ROBS YOU OF MONEY! They make you think it’s a bike app. I didn’t USE a bike through this nor purchase anything and they charged me $175! Does anyone know how to get this money back? Did this happen to anyone else? They need a lawsuit!

Terrible app. It used to be great, but now nothing will load without location services (GPS) turned on. You can’t use the map like a map. Will be deleting this app now, because it’s entirely useless.
  • Best App to FIND available Bikes and Docks

This app is a really good app if you want to easily find the closest available bikes or docks available. Previous reviewer‘s were complaining that they could not rent a bike easily from the app. That is not what the app is meant to do. The native Citi Bike app is great for unlocking bikes but not so great for easily finding the closest available open bikes or docks. This app gives you a list by distance making it really easy to find the closest available bikes or docks. Highly recommend!

Terrible. Can not figure it out. Want to use a bike for 3 hours. Even if we return and take a new one that’s fine but can not figure this out!
