  • Complete failure

This app does nothing but show the tv listings and spit error codes when you try to stream video. I have literally not been able to get it to show one second of video. It’s a complete failure.
  • Clunky and not good

This app is about worthless. Clunky to use. Constantly not recording, losing recordings, scheduled shows mysteriously disappear. Records every episode even though it is set to new only. Think will be cancelling this portion of my service and find something better than this.

Buckeye wants this to be the replacement for when you have fiber. Every one of my clients complains about their experience even when viewed on a Roku Ultra or the latest ATV. They say the picture is great on every app except for StreamTV. I personally have it and recently had to restart a recorded program through a Roku Ultra 6 times for a 1/2 hour program. If you look at Spectrum, their app reviews are very good for their live tv experience. I had a customer just tell me that they use the Spectrum app and it works great for them. The picture looks great too. Buckeye, if you want this app to be great, you need to work a lot harder. Perhaps hire a better developer because this will cause you to lose customers. Your fiber has been great thus far. My install crew was great and installed the fiber properly. Some of my clients have had less than desirable installs. You shouldn’t see daylight through a wall penetration for fiber.
  • App has become utterly frustrating using Apple TV

This App USED to be trouble free until recently… I run Two Apple TV units, one 1080p version and one 4K version… Recently I’ve had habitual problems on both My Apple TV units with the Buckeye My Stream app ONLY, all other streaming apps work without a hitch… This app when I’m streaming any live TV Channels on it keeps giving the buffering wheel, a buffering wheel and then a box on screen that says Bee-Boop, Bee-Boop can’t load check Internet connection… This is in addition to the picture freezing up with the buffering wheel the picture just freezing and no sound Etc. and so on and so forth… I’ve done EVERYTHING on my end to make it right, looking at forums about Apple TV, reset my Units resetting my Modem… I’ve exhausted Every Avenue yet the problem persists and persists… My internet connection is not the problem (per Buckeye Broadband Technician) and again NO issues with any other streaming App… I see on the app information that TiVo has developed this application and this app for me has not performed in my opinion to my satisfaction in the slightest as of recently… One Star developer until the issue is resolved…

Use it on my Apple TV and it works great. Actually have a lot less issues than before with the cables everywhere.

Why in do you want people’s social security numbers, that is so wrong, I was going to use you app because it said you didn’t have to sign in or make a account what a lie, there is something wrong with a app that wants people to use there social security numbers, those numbers are suppose to be private, that is so bogus, that is how people get there get their information stolen, so sorry but I was looking forward to using your app, but when I saw that it was a no brainer and I will be deleting your app.
  • Terrible

App keeps freezing and/or losing sound CONSTANTLY on Apple TV 4K (current model). We’ve deleted and downloded it many times to try to resolve and it’s still terrible. It’s like using an unreliable antenna, only packaged up as an app to seem cool.
  • App is garbage!

I’ve had nothing but issues since I was talked into giving up my TiVo boxes and installing this app! Not only was I misquoted a new price when I was told I’d save money, but I had to lower my speed since they don’t offer a 200 mbps package. This app freezes every single time we start it up and you have to back out and restart it every time….it freezes constantly while you’re watching tv and today it wouldn’t connect at all. After I cleared the cache, the data, signed out and signed back in, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, unplugging my tv for 10 seconds and restarting the tv finally fixed the connection issue….but it still keeps freezing! Way to much work for as much money as I pay for Buckeye!! Looking into cutting the cord with Buckeye for good….they really need to work on keeping the customers they have instead of raising prices and giving us nothing in return!
  • Doesn’t Work With my MacPro

Despite numerous suggestions by support, StreamTV via the website, because there is no version for the Mac, does not work. Even connecting directly to the Buckeye cable modem, bypassing the router and switch it sees me as not being home. They need a version that works with Mac. Not everyone uses MS Windows.
