“Stream” is a stretch. You can’t watch most anything unless in your home. Mostly all channels don’t work, you can watch recorded shows / movies but storage for those is REALLY low. Not worth having on phone / tablet.

I’ve had Comporium since it was fort mill telephone company. You guys told me this app would work two years ago I use my login all the time for things and yet it won’t let me log into this app to view remotely. What am I doing wrong and why does it not work?

You can watch everything but live sporting events. Their servers are like 3 min behind regular time. I get updates on my phone before plays even happen. For that I give it 2 stars

What good is this? I can’t watch my normal tv stations live. You can only watch what you have recorded. If you’re at your home and on WiFi you can watch whatever you want on your phone but what’s the point in that? I have my tv for that! I got this so I could watch live shows/ football on the road. It’s useless to me.
  • Truly Awful

This app is glitchy and truly awful. 1. No ability to see what is coming up in your scheduled recordings in the next 2 weeks. 2. Can’t program favorite channels to skip channels you don’t watch. 3. No ability to just type in a channel to go to that channel. 4. No last channel button to skip back. 5. Endless buffering and glitches. And the absolute WORST- this service is only about $10 less per month than our moxi box was, and when we called to request to go back to the traditional cable box, we were told that was no longer even an option. We’ve been with Comporium for 20+ years, and have faithfully defended them against calls in the community that they were a horrible company with terrible service. But this? This is the thing that is going to make us leave.

Selecting the guide results in being kicked out of the app at least one time. Slow response and loading, as compared to any other apps used (Prime, HBOMax, Netflix, etc.).

By far the absolute worst streaming app on my devices. Fast forwarding or rewinding always results in at least a full minute of blurry playback. The best thing this app does is buffer. It will randomly restart a show from the beginning, scrolling in the guide is nearly impossible and most of the time I’m watching poor quality playback or the activity indicator. To top things off this when watching a recording of a game, the app will randomly flash the current screen when you try and fast forward through commercials. I’m cancelling my service because of this app, it’s unusable. I wouldn’t use this app if Comporium’s service was free.
  • Apple TV app needs the back button!

Hey Comporium. On the Apple TV when U click the back button that will eventually back you out of the app and to the Home Screen. Your back button implementation does not do that. Please fix

This app is a terrible replacement for the cable box. On the Apple TV you have to scroll through all the channels every time you want to go to a channel that isn’t in the recents. If the app updates or the device restarts you lose the recents. Being able to flag channels as favorites and use them instead of recents would be a better option. When I turn it on I get the message content is no longer available. I don’t want to watch the show I was watching 5 hours ago. I want to go to live tv when I turn it on instead I have to acknowledge the message before I can start watching. Being able to set the default power on action (view live tv or resume previous show) would be nice. With the most recent update instead of going to the channel that I select from the guide it now takes me to the shows info page. I want to go to the channel I select, not the shows info page. It feels like they are trying to unsuccessfully combine Live TV and a Netflix like experience. Guide should be for a TV like experience and Home/Shows/Movies for the Netflix like experience. Put an option in the top menu for Show Details that then takes me to the shows info page. Also adding an on screen clock would be nice. Again, something that could be added to the top menu or always on screen when any menu is activated. Every update seems to make the overall app’s functionality worse. I don’t know if there is a way to suggest features or if they are listening to any of the feedback but right now Stream TV is a inadequate replacement for the cable box.
