    Connected to tv manually using ip address, clicked allow on my physical samsung remote, says it is connected. But cannot change any settings, volume, on/off, nothing works. All I have is a picture of my remote that does nothing.

    This is the most annoying app I have ever used. It is based on you using it and then all of sudden it switched to an ad that if you’re not looking directly at the remote, which no one does, it will take you to the advertiser web page.So fn dishonest and annoying!

    The point of downloading a remote that connects to your tv is in case your batteries die or you lose or break your remote. I downloaded this for that exact reason. Note I have to go during rush hour for batteries bc this app still requires the use of your remote. WHAT IS THE ENTIRE POINT OF THIS??? Let it connect via wifi and that’s it. Complete trash app

    Worked a single day and I thought it was great l. Next day it never connected, couldn’t ever connect to my tv or anything.

    What is the point of this remote if it still asks me to click on my TV allow it to connect? My TV doesn’t have any buttons. Therefore I still need to use my own remote. It also doesn’t have the correct remote for my TV. I need model number BN59–01315J. Not to mention the random a pop-up ads are really annoying!

    The Media remote UI is my favorite. Please add a press and hold feature for the select button. Or if it’s already there, please tell me how to enable it. In Samsung’s YT app, holding the center button on a video (using the physical remote) will displays options like “Don’t recommend this channel” or “Not Interested.” I would really love the ability to do that with this remote.

    Downloaded this app for use w/ my TV, looked promising, & I liked the privacy policy, but when I launched the app, it asked for my location data. Why does a remote app need that? BIG red flag 🚩🚩🚩

    I love this app it works very well. •only a few ads not as much as other remote apps •free, I know many over remote apps that need money. •has many remote variants, really handy if you have multiple Samsung tv’s. Overall, just a very good app and I highly recommend, just a quick reminder, the only time you need to use a remote is in the beginning where it asks you to allow the app to connect to the tv.
