  • Fun For Me

This game looks great and doesn't hurry you along which I like. There are lots of items to find and quests that require said items, but it's not a hidden objects game (which I really don't enjoy). I like puzzles and there are some pretty good ones so far. There is no epic story, but it is nice to explore and solve the quests and puzzles to advance. Personally I have only needed a couple of hints here and there, but not a big deal. One can get a really good feel for the game for free before committing any hard money for hints. I am of the opinon that if I do spend a few bucks for a few hints and have a good time playing the game then I'm good to go. If I need a lot of hints, then maybe it's not worth it for me. I find the navigation is a litle clunky, but that is only a minor thing. I would definately play more from this developer.

Maybe I'm just not good enough at this type of game, but although I'm mostly enjoying the game, some of the tasks are...not that intuitive. Like, there's one in the very first scene where you make an item (trying not to give away spoilers here) and then, once you use it, you cut off part of it to use for something else. I would never have guessed that without a hint! However, I'm intrigued enough to keep going...with a cheat/walkthrough page at the ready for when I get stuck.
  • Fun but have to BUY hints?

This game would be one of the best I've ever played except for the fact that whenever you come across a game you desperately need help with and you no long have hints left, you are forced to buy coins for more hints. That's just dirty pool. I've been stuck on the light button game for an extremely long time now and haven't been able to get anywhere. I've tried all the walkthroughs and they just don't work. As much as I want to continue playing this game, I've reached a point to where I'm just letting it sit because I can't get past this light botton part. Making be pay for more hints just won't cut it with me. Putting a time limit on them I can understand, but as for having to buy hints? No.

This adventure is just hard enough to keep it interesting but not so hard you want to give up. The artwork is pleasant and genuiely adds to the joy of the game.
