Description

Based on Colin Thiele's 1964 children’s book of the same name, Storm Boy takes place on the beaches of South Australia near the mouth of the Murray River, where the titular protagonist rescues orphaned pelican chicks, one of whom later becomes the child’s pet and faithful companion, Mr. Percival. Experience an interactive retelling of the classic tale by taking control of both Storm Boy and Mr. Percival in key moments, such as when the pair rescued stranded sailors during a storm. Relive their friendship and enjoy seaside activities across a wide assortment of fun and relaxing mini-games, including sand drawing, sailing, cockle hunting, playing fetch, sand surfing, pelican feeding, and more.

Seems like alot of effort went into beautiful graphics but no point. All the swimming for what? All the flying? There's literally no point to anything. Even for a kid game there should be development not just fly through the air continously or dive into water for no reason or dig up shells endlessly for absolutly no reason. This is not a learning game. It develops no skills. There is no progression. And that's very unfortunate because it's a very beautiful game.

This application is a big joke. It does not work well on iMac platform. Made for a 3 year old.

I loved the beauty and detail of this very strange story game. The story itself didn't make any sense, and didn't match up with the action. Go back to the drawing board and make this a magical experience as it could so easily be! Have the pelicans actually catch the fish. Steer the flying bird through and around things. And, by God man, give us a better reason why the pelican died. My 3 year old boy was fine, but my 5 year old girl was not all that happy. Again, beautiful work. The artist should be proud. The programmers are lazy. Get off your duff and do something cool. pfft... millenials. go figure.
