Pretty expensive for basic personal use yet not super sophisticated. Only 2 free applets? That too a very basic location one failed when i tried. Basically its not free at all, nada for basic personal use. There are many other alternatives available for free, keep looking!

They used to allow one app for free but has since taken that away.
  • Very diverse services, but not reliable

Their support is terrible. They do not provide real-time status. They claim issues are resolved when they are not. IFTTT connects to lots of services, but they have very little support or communication when things go wrong. And thing go wrong fairly frequently. We pay for the pro level, and we experience interruptions in service several times a month. Sometimes for many hours at a time. Usually their status page shows no issues even when it is obvious that they are experiencing an outage. When they do have an outage, they do not provide any information about the outage. And their support basically goes silent until the outage has been resolved, so it is difficult to know if they are even aware of the outage or working on resolving it.

I’m sure there is something a seasoned attorney could argue the deceptive marketing tactics and services that are known to be lacking of functionality.

Don’t download it, it’s a waste of time. I set up two things, one ways to turn a bulb blue when raining the other was to flash a lights when raining, I’m using Phillip Hue lightbulbs and twice it rained and nothing happened no blue light no flashing light nothing.

This company once offered a free plan that allowed unlimited applets to be made. Then they wanted to charge you for making more than 3. To get people to convert, they offered a plan where they would let you set your own price and they would honor it FOREVER. Here is what their advertising said. “Through October 7th, we're offering to set the monthly price you want to pay for IFTTT Pro and we’ll honor it forever.” That is very clear. Forever is forever. Now a couple of years later they are raising their prices. If you don’t want to honor a deal that has a set price forever, DONT OFFER A PRICE THAT YOU SAY IS FOREVER. This is the terms they set.

I love this app! It allows me to trigger post to Facebook when I like a new YouTube video. That saves me 3 steps and changing apps!
