  • Does not work. At all.

    Contrary to the App Store listing there is no demo. I bought the annual subscription. There are no controls, only a modal dialog with a thank you for purchase, no menu, no settings. Close the dialog, no menu, no settings, no application. The company's name is "Existential Audio" but their application does not exist and does not belong in the App Store. I'm not following how it passed the App Store review.

    Tried for a brief second because I noticed my Blackhole 64ch suddenly wasn't working in OBS anymore. However, I had to delete immediately and restart my computer - 2019 Macbook Pro, 64 gigs ram - because it made my laptop painfully slow; I worry about what would have happened had I tried to record anything with it. I also noticed that it made my music app fail to play and caused it to keep crashing (which I can't have; my main videos are me drumming along to music). This seems promising if it works as intended, but I can't in good conscience recommend it for users of a 2019 Macbook Pro right now.

    I had which turned out to be two very minor problems, and the developer was very prompt in responding to my initial message and worked with me to solve the problems. I was very very impressed with the level of service. I haven't had a chance to fully use the app quite yet. But I have no doubt that it will work fine as I have another one of his apps Black Hole that works great.

    Beware, the price to unlock the full version is $29.99. The version on the app store is a demo only. As of writing this review, their website nor the app description mentions the app-store version is demo-limited. Would be nice to know before downloading

  • Brings my 2019 i7 MBP to a crawl

    It becomes near impossible to multitask at a decent speed when this is running. Not even recording, just running.
