Description

The ObvioGo™ app is a purpose-built mobile application designed to make clinical trial participation as easy and seamless as possible. As a pivotal piece of ObvioHealth’s configurable decentralized clinical trial (DCT) platform, this app enables participants to engage in clinical studies outside the traditional trial setting—from the comforts of home and as they go about their daily lives. The app’s features allow participants to provide consent, complete study tasks, report changes in health or medication, and communicate with the study team, all from the convenience of their personal iOS.

The entry to the app provides the option to stay signed in, however apparently it only works to keep you logged in for 10min as anytime longer than that I have to re login which seems to defeat the purpose of asking me if I want to stay logged in.

I was accepted into the study after completing about 2 hours worth of documentation on my health, medical history, medications, training and profile. Signed up using my home phone number. Study personnel contacted me via email and said I must use my cell phone. No problem. I was I formed that my phone number could not be changed so I would have to start from scratch with a new email. I do not have another email. Doesn’t seem very proficient if my phone number couldn’t be changed and I must start over doing everything that too me over 2 hours to complete.
  • Scam, Poorly managed? Definitely a time waster!

Finally got this buggy app installed (you can not set the password up on a phone but have to use laptop) and read and signed all of the documents and then ZERO instructions received. I tried to use the message feature to ask what’s going on and it’s been several days with no response. Possibly not a scam in the full sense but whoever these people are they could care less about wasting hours of people’s precious time.

The study team was very responsive and helpful, and I found the app very easy to use….. I hope more studies become available that I can enroll in as the ease and convenience of participating without having to go to the physician’s office is very helpful in my busy life!!

I saw an ad online for a migraine study and after answering a few questions I was invited to participate to this study and downloaded the App… I have been suffering from migraines for years and was expecting some kind of new treatment but this study is testing an other App that helps with Migraine management, I thought that was super interesting. So far the App works great, very intuitive.. I had a call with someone from the study team to verify my ID and the lady was nice and knowledgeable. You have to answer some questions on your symptoms and use the other App… both work very well and you don’t need to login to both. I hope this will help manage my migraine!

Been using the App for a couple days. It’s the first time I participate in a clinical study and found the App super easy to use. Sometimes there is a small delay in getting to the next activity.. but if you wait a few seconds or refresh the App then it shows up.

I received an invitation to use the app as a participant for a trial. It was easy to use, sleek in its look and feel. My reminders came in regularly with the ability to connect with the study team seamlessly when something came up. It has been responsive and helpful throughout my trial.

I was invited to a virtual clinical study that was using this app. I was told that to sign up, I had to click on “reset my password”. I tried doing that about 15 times today and every time I either never got an email or it would immediately say it was expired when I tried to set up the password. It is upsetting that a company would target disabled people and add more disappointment and frustration to our lives. If a study says they’re conducting it through this app, it’s probably fake.
