  • Latest revision doesn’t connect to power meter.

My app updated and lost the power meter. Watch is still connected, which is preferable. As others have said. It works some times. Others doesn’t. I would rather have the watch app work than the phone app though. Crossing my fingers I don’t update that on accident. Cranks are awesome though. So keep that up 4iii
  • Delete and reinstall app if not working

Spent a year troubleshooting and sending in for warranty etc. problem ended up getting solved by deleting the app, forgetting all sensors. Factory resetting sensors by installing battery backwards and then properly installing batteries and reinstalling/ downloading app
  • The support website doesn’t exist

My QuickStart pamphlet directs you to 4iii.com/support. Website doesn’t exist. “4iii.com” alone doesn’t exist. Buyer beware. Whatever you are hoping it will do, it probably wont.
  • When it works, it works well. But when it doesn’t…

It’s VERY frustrating, especially when you don’t realize the ride somehow stopped recording until AFTER your ride is done. And there is no partial FIT file that at least captured part of the ride before it stopped. Like someone mentioned, it may be the notifications. Was hoping to avoid using my HRM strap for my commutes but not at the expense of potentially missing a whole ride. And not supporting multiple power meters is a pain. Another pain point - it seems to keep running in the background even after a ride, drawing down the Watch battery.
  • Multiple Powermeters

Like other users reviewed, you have to remove the older power meter from the account before you pair the new one, otherwise the app won’t find the new one(s) via Bluetooth. I had a one-side precision 3, then bought a dual-side precision pro. The app only identifies the right side of the pro. Took me an hour to figure this out and I thought the left side was defective. I understand there could be limitations on the connections related to multiple Bluetooth or whatever. How about at least add a warning to the description or on your website as FAQs? Very disappointed.
  • Horrible app

Wish I could leave zero stars. Glitchy, doesn’t record files properly. When it does record, data is wrong. Sometimes yo can’t scroll to see all the data. Random errors about ‘can’t parse data’. Please fix / update this app!!
  • Ride companion app not there yet

I’m only a few miles into my first ride using the ride companion app. It connected to my 4iiii’s precision power meter without any problem, calibrated fine and started a workout but it has stopped recording 3 times in less than 30 minutes. 3 fit files were sent to the 4iiiis iPhone app but only 2 will open. I think it may be other notifications I’m receiving on my watch that are stopping it (texts and emails) but I’m not sure as it seems to stop a bit after they are cleared
  • 4iiii app is worthless

The app is unable to detect or connect to my Viiiiva HRM. The online User Manual instructions in many instances does not describe what is displayed on the app screen. 4iiii tech support is also non-responsive. It’s as if they don’t care about helping customers. Often they don’t even respond and when they do respond the answers don’t address the problem. The HRM doesn’t stay connected via Bluetooth to the RWGPS app. It connects but loses the connection during the ride only to reconnect at the end of the ride. My Stages PM has no Bluetooth connectivity issues. The Wahoo KICKR HRM stays connected. Fortunately the HRM works with the elite HRV app.

I wished I had read some of the reviews. To start with, support was good to identify my problem which was I got a new bike and now have two sets of Precision crank meters - the App does not support multiple sets of meters. First thought that came to me was, “Am I the only person that has multiple sets of these crank meters?” Answer is no. If you have more than one set of crank meters you have to have a unique device just for that set. I can only hope that 4iii app designers read this and at least consider adding either the option for multiple meters or at a minimum a notice on the app that gives the user an error message to tell the user can not attach multiple meter devices.
  • App update borks everything

Utter rubbish. I’ll just make up my wattage since the app doesn’t connect to the server and all is see is a red screen now. Bravo.
