I am changing my review.... this developer has not did any updates at all in 2 years. That is really disappointing cause I paid for all of the developers app and I am concerned that I will lose them in the future. Especially if the iOS version starts to be to advance for the app. I hope that the developer will keep all of the art apps working in the future. I have lost so many cause the developer just stops caring about there app.
  • Okay but one problem

I think it’s great. But it has one problem sometimes when I am working in the middle of something it will go back to home screen then I tap the game again and everything is erased . It makes me really disappointed and I have to start over again if it is fixed I will give you five stars though. I do think if this was fixed it would be perfect.

I’ve been looking for a watercolor app on the iPad. This one has the right idea in terms of behavior. Unfortunately, the largest canvas is a mere 2048 x 1536 (which is stated in the release notes). The result is an image that is just over 3 megapixels. To put this in printing terms, this image at 300 ppi is only about 7 x 5 inches. This, along with just a few brush sizes, is a dealbreaker. I should have read the notes more carefully.

Was considering learning how to oil paint via tv program. However, after receiving an IPad 6 with pencil stylus I feel Water Color Pencil is easier to use than the programs I have tried. I especially enjoy using the eraser which allows me to repair, recreate, and learn from my mistakes. Currently I enjoy turning pictures I have taken into something very different . As an added bonus, no paint to clean up or supplies to order.

This app has been pretty easy to use for a beginner. So far I am happy with my purchase.
  • Extremely bad app

Failed me big time, I wish I could get my money back. Very cumbersome layout and tools, brushes are terrible and the water color is jagged and pixelated. Tools effects are primitive looking. I am really amazed by the amount of praises, either they know nothing about art or they are fake. I've been doing digital art for nearly 10 years, it is my worst experience ever.
  • My best watercolor app

I love this app, especially the watercolor. A problem I have is it erases more than I want when I hit the undo button. I hope that an update will fix this problem so that only the last stroke will be erased.

WCP on iPhone!!! it don't get better than this Ok, I'm impressed. And that's not easy. This has been a fav since I got it - and that was well over a year ago. I do media arts in the three dimensional world. It is wonderful to be able to take the Experience of the media With me, Everywhere! This is the closest to tactile media I've found! I do have a couple of ideas, though. Could you please add the Option to "clear" the history of a specific tool when necessary. Especially when I start a new project, this is something that would be useful as an option if I'm finished with a specific set of colours. More choices for sizes (or a slider?) with the tools; perhaps a "hard edge" choice for side edges with the airbrush? A few of these realistic features would just make an awesome virtual art experience even more satisfying.

At first glance this appears to be a great app for a professional artist. However,1: there isn't a handbook, 2: there aren't any tutorials, 3: there isn't a way to import an image from my photos from which I can begin a sketch. As I said... frustrating
