    The lovely Mint app was theoretically absorbed into this excessively complicated new app withy the awful name. CK is hard to navigate, limited to iPhone size and seems to be trying to sell me things I don’t want. If you want to see something useful, like your bank balance, CK wont give you that. What it will do—constantly—is hawk ways for you to get credit cards, loans, ways to get into debt. It’s not just a bad app, its kinda immoral too.

    Mint was great for budgeting and balancing finances and I used it for 12+ years. Credit Karma feels like I’m constantly being sold insurance and encouraged to apply for credit cards and it loses much of the budget functionality Mint had. BRING BACK MINT!

    Mint was a perfect app for tracking monthly budgets and categorizing expenses. No idea why they would eliminate that feature when they merged it into Credit Karma. Disconnected all of my other accounts and deactivated my CK account. Will find a better alternative.

    I downloaded credit karma 2 years ago, my credit score is was a 457. I was able to check and monitor my scores daily. I downloaded a chime prepaid credit card and linked my direct deposit to it for 6 months to raise my score up to where I got a secured card from capital one through credit karma and only made small purchases to get my credit score up even more. Now I was able to purchase my first home because my score has increased so much with the help of credit karma. It really does help!

    When the Mint app was deprecated, they recommended using CK as an alternative. The major problem is that it is extremely difficult to find the key features I used with Mint. Now it’s mostly upsells and ads on the dashboard and it’s hard to find & reclassify transactions to keep an eye on any sketchy charges…
