    I had this app since the beginning originally on the android platform when it was free. It used to be a great app. Gradually though, more and more pop-ups and demands for you to spend more money and add on more features which I was willing to overlook. So on the iOS platform I bought it. It had a flat fee. Now things that used to be free in the app like the astrological information are a pay service. I bought this app. I am utterly disgusted by the greed that has developed on this platform in general in terms of apps. I'm going to find a new one and stop using this all together. You've taken all the joy out of it. Congratulations. Response to your response : And this has been my big annoyance. You take no responsibility for the choices you've made. Since the beginning you were able to look at the astrology for a particular night and figure out what was recommended and not recommended and what not. And by the way planetary hours is literally something that a person could put on half a sheet of paper and yet you charge for it. The fact that more and more apps want one to pay for additional things and get into subscriptions so you can go broke is ridiculous. So what you're saying makes no sense. so what if it's the oldest one. You've literally taken all the joy out of it. I'm not going to spend another dime or get a subscription service. Ridiculous. If you use it as a "free app" and I paid for it by the way so it wasn't free. It was originally an app that was free then it became pay and I paid for it and then it kept bugging me to add on features every time I opened it. And now you've made it utterly useless unless you buy all those additional things. So I hope you can live with the karma of that. Unbelievable.

    I bought the “Full Version” from you while you were building up your following. Now I don’t have access to things I used to have access to. I understand you made upgrades, but I paid for a FULL functioning app. I no longer have that. It’s not right how many developers are doing this. You build off of our money then take away what you sold us. I bought “premium” years and years ago to help you build. Now I don’t even have those original uses anymore. Not cool. I am the CEO of my own company, I have an app, and I would never consider doing this to someone who believed in me, gave me their money and trust. But I guess that is me. I wish you all well.

    Just deleted it after five years. I want moon rise/set times, phase and illumination percentage, nothing more. No need to require access to the calendar or to track me for that.

  • Good App - But not as a monthly subscription

    I am a long time user of this app and have purchased the full app + plugins several times, including gifting it to other accounts. I have also recommended this app to quite a few people over the years. I have enjoyed the full app and the paid plug-ins have been a good value. Unfortunately, it now looks as though this app is now moving to a monthly subscription model. While I understand the proposed benefits of this model, I can’t justify another monthly fee, and I cannot recommend other to do so. There are quite a few moon apps out there but, I have always tried to support this one. Unfortunately, if this goes through with the monthly licensing model change, I will probably decide to explore/recommend other options that are more cost effective in the long term (even if it means less features). I understand that the loss of a few customers is inevitable and no big loss compared to the potential revenue of monthly subscriptions. Just thought I would offer my opinion as a long time customer who has purchased the app and add-on’s several times. I would even have considered a lifetime purchase price option. It’s a good app, but I shift to a monthly subscription is just something I can’t justify.

    I really loved this app, so much so I bought it. Then they tried to make me buy it again for more stuff but I thought I already bought it. Fast forward now they want monthly payments for the things I bought it for…going to search for another app and buy that until they nickel and dime me then I’m out. Super disappointed. This was my favorite moon app until the greedy moon took over.

    I PURCHASED this app a number of years ago. I loved it. I just updated the app today. The description said “bug fixes”. When I opened the app after the update all the features that came with my ORIGINAL purchase were gone. The features in my ORIGINAL purchase has been taken away from me unless I pay $60.00 a year. Unless there is a way to restore all the features of this app that I ALREADY BOUGHT YEARS AGO I will be deleting it. ZERO STAR RATING.

    Love this app,it's wonderful-only downfall is that not all info can be added to calendar,only a couple of things can be-would be PERFECT(5 star) if/when that happens- it is worth the price though-(wish the astrological info of the moon phases was able to be put into the calendar) UPDATE For some reason-it no longer works with Apple Watch-can’t download it or anything Is this due to most recent iOS updates??!!??

    Deleted this app when they came out with astrology add-on, which seemed mandatory. Am not anti-astrology, more of a shrug-my-shoulders type. But didn’t like the no-choice about it.

    I used to love this app. It kept adding upgrades and wanting me to pay more for an app I had already bought. Finally, they completely removed functionality they used to have to try to force the upgrade. I’m deleting this app.

    Paid for app long ago. Now all the little bits are paid upgrades. Anything critical written about it and developer responds with crybaby whining instead of making an attempt at improvement. Time to grow up and loose the diapers!
