Many, many moons ago, I purchased this game probably for the sole reason that I liked cats, and this was a time that not a lot of other cat games existed yet on the App store. I was hardly any good at it then, and really just liked playing with the cats (tapping the recipient cat and getting that little meow is charming!) and listening to the catchy music. Skip ahead, I remembered this about a week or two ago and thought it would be fun to redownload and enjoy some nostalgia! And boy was I right, but even more so! This game is so much fun because it really gets you thinking.. To get the ball from one cat to the next, you’ve got to sparingly use your arrows, consider the bumps in the terrain, and even take things like speed and angle into great account. While the cat theming is an amazing bonus (I still do love them!) I think the crown jewel of this game is the strategy of it all. I don’t have any complaints, but it would be nice to have a hint system! — maybe completing enough levels would allow you to unlock hints for ones you find difficult. Some levels I was really stuck on, and had to Youtube them because I couldn’t get the exact perfect placement the arrows required. Also, having the arrows save their positions even if you don’t beat the level might be nice! This is because sometimes I would figure out exactly where one arrow needs to go, but then had to turn the game off, so when I got back on the arrow’s position reset. A silly idea of mine I might throw out there is that beating levels unlocks new cats, maybe an orange, grey, calico, etc. This would just be to reinforce the cat theming, but that aspect of the game is already very strong. The entire art style of the game is very cat-centric, with lots of swirly trees and early morning backgrounds that reference to the fanciness and nocturnal habits of the cats. In short, I give the art style a purr/10, and the only reason any new cats would be added would just be for extra aesthetics! For anyone looking to make the purchase, this game is the cat’s meow! It’s truly some delicious brain candy and a fun way to spend your free time (or time in physics class?). Either way, I’m not kitten when I say this game is very much worth it! UPDATE: I wanted to add some thoughts on something I’ve noticed a lot. After finishing the main 100 levels, I moved on to the bonus pack to keep enjoying the game. Oddly, something about the way the cat shoots the ball from its tail is randomized, because you can set up your arrows in their exact positions to get to a goal, but the ball will occasionally not follow the arrows how you expected. To fix it, you have to shoot the ball again and hope that something about its initial launch changed. It’s really hard to explain in words what this problem is, but basically, with the same arrows and positioning, the ball can be shot several times down that same path and go totally different ways. This can put a winning path in a bad light because your initial roll was different and caused the arrows to look wrong. I’ve even placed the first arrow in front of the launcher cat, and sometimes the ball would hit the arrow, sometimes it would miss it. I understand that the physics of the game vary and I’m not sure how this could be fixed, but I wanted to put this out there for other players. :)

I’ve had this game since I bought my first iPod touch, so for years! Now on my iPhone 13. I love cats, and the sounds, graphics, and challenges of this game really keep me on my toes. It’s fun and can be played for a few minutes or very intensively. This game is tricky but fun because of the design. After I solve a level, I like to aim for improving it. Appreciate the creative obstacles and the unique titles of each level. Creativity deserves loyalty. Thank you so much. (I’ve also kept Castle for many years)!

Always loved this game from the moment I played it. Brings back good memories from playing it again. Also, negative reviews are just people who skill issue the game and are mad they can’t beat a level. Don’t believe people hate this game because it is a nearly PERFECT game and worth the money
  • Still worthy in 2022!

In a day when games weren’t full of ads and dependent on internet connectivity, there was Cat Physics. Even today in 2022, this game is EXCELLENT and worthy of your time. Fun and cutesy yet brain-teasing! BIG 5 stars from a 10-year fan!

I enjoy this game a lot. I played it in Pensylvania when I was younger. On level 17 - "The Bridge", the bridge flip board originally worked, but now, for some reason, it no longer does. I'm not sure why, probably because of updating it to having "Reversed Classics" levels, but that was a lot more fun up until then. Other than that, I still love this game. I would give this a 5 star rating.

I started playing Cat Physics because I was having anxiety and needed to distract my brain and stop the negative thought loops. I laugh! I achieve! I love it!
