Yuzu - for the Asian community

Umm that's very so far. Not enough Asian people for the app in the USA…

It keeps saying api error when I enter my number and I was kicked off the app suddenly.

Says bestie and community, but shows me a bunch of shirtless dudes on the feed who aren’t even attractive when i already selected married and only looking to socialize with other women.

I guess the app needs some traction with popularity. So far it’s very boring and basic. I would like the developers to give us an option of removing written prompts if we don’t want them to appear on our profiles anymore, or hide/unanswer other “about me” questions. I also would prefer if my pictures weren’t zoomed in to 700%, it’s so off putting that I am looking up at people’s nostrils when their profiles come up. The prompts are also a bit cringey to answer :T Other than that, good luck to this app, I’ve seen several of the same come and go and I’ve liked this one the most thus far.

Been playing with it for a while still and no updates have been made on the bugs for filtering through profiles. People from any distance, age, gender. To the developers: PLEASE differentiate who is looking for just friends, and who is interested in dating. Do something like add colors to certain profiles to let everyone know who is looking for what. I’m only looking for friends and I’m tired of getting profiles of people trying to look for more.

Distance filtering doesn’t work I get tons of likes from Indian scammers

I as a mixed race Asian was hoping for a good app to meet and date other Asians. Based on the distance of users and the reply rate (almost zero in one month if you count the scammer accounts). In theory this app would be great if it connected people close by.

I’ve been on the app since it’s release and honestly I still haven’t figured out many of the small nuances. There’s a bunch of problems with the app itself, but I can see the vision for it. One thing that has to be fixed is the age and distance options. Even though the age and distance can be set, you’ll still find people that are 1000+ miles out and find people who’re older than what you set. Another small thing that’s irked me is how the app itself was advertised for Asian people to meet and be friends, date and whatever else, but there’s a good 50% of the users on the app who are straight up not Asian and they’ll have that in their bio. Obviously that can’t be fixed, but that’s just a fair warning for those who think there’s only Asians on this app. Another gripe I have with the app is the liking system. Unlike other apps like this, you won’t be given an option to see who has liked you. You’ll find out if they like you if you’re given the chance to chat with them. Only if both people like each other will a chat room open for them. If you’re the type of person to wait for others to like them and check those, you’ll be waiting until your hair turns gray.

I did everything the when it came to the putting your birthday part I can’t even put my year in it won’t let me, I have deleted it before and reinstalled it and I’m still having problems

my only problems distance filter is useless 80% of the app is non asians which defeats the whole purpose
