  • Bad customer service, app doesn’t work

    My watch doesn’t pair up with the app or phone, it says I have to oay and it doesn’t even give me the option to pair (bluetooth) on the app. I tried contacting costumer service, ran by AI and kept saying it would “transfer me to someone with better knowledge” and didn’t do anything, so the apo doesn’t work, and neither does their customer service. I’m really sad, I was really excited about this watch 😔

    Purchased Kore watch 4 yrs ago, downloaded the KoreHealth app and use the watch with no problems. In 2023, the manufacturer made it mandatory to buy a $19.99 monthly subscription. I’m on a fixed income and cannot afford to pay this. So now, the watch I paid for cannot be used. The setting cannot be adjusted to use the clock on the watch. I’m very disappointed.

    There is no way to justify the $20/mo required subscription for the full access to this scale, especially after paying $100 for the scale itself. Amazfit is half the price with a free app that tracks the same metrics. It is slightly less accurate, but only slightly. For the overall value, it’s a better purchase. For example, on the more reliable KoreHealth 2 scale, my metrics were almost exactly the same on the Amazfit scale, with the exception of body fat. It was about 19.5% on Kore and about 20.2% on Amazfit. There were slight variances with bone density as well. Overall, it was worth it to me to switch to Amazfit

    Before I purchased this watch, all the information said if you weren’t happy you could return for a full refund. The next day after I received the watch from I emailed their customer service inquiring about the proper procedures to return the watch for a refund. I was told to expect a response within two days. I have now emailed them three different times and still have not received a response. Their advertising is nothing but lies, lies, and more lies!!! Not a happy customer and stuck with a watch I do not like!!

    I now am no longer able to use my scale beyond my basic weight. The app won’t let me get beyond trying to get me to sign up for a $19.99 subscription that is, obviously, geared to customers that aren’t only using the scale. Reaching out to support hasn’t helped.

    During the last update, I had to log into the app again. The app shows trying to pair to a KoreWatch, which I do NOT have. I have the KoreScale. The KoreScale won’t pair with my iPhone because it is trying to pair with a watch. I have been on the KoreApp trying to get some help. No one will call me, email me- nothing. The chat bot keeps saying it will connect me with an agent, but it’s been almost 2 hours and nothing has happened. I have deleted the KoreApp from my phone and reinstalled it. Nothing is working and I can’t get any help.

    Don't do it. I got my scale back in NOVEMBER. My trial subscription expired before I even received the scale. The scale was never able to sync with my phone. I emailed customer service and I'd hear back a week later to see if I still had the issue, then I could reply to the email again. Twice I was told they would just refund me the money. Never happened. Developer messaged me based on my review and said if I still have issues I could email them. Well guess what? It's February and the scale didn't work EVEN ONCE. terrible. Save yourselves and get a better device.

    I paid over $100 for the scale while the features were free. I had a choice between two scales offering same free features (the other one was $70) and I actually paid a little more thinking the cheaper one might have some “hidden” fees! What a joke! Then they decided to start charging $20 A MONTH! out of nowhere, without leaving ANY features available for people that already purchased it, leaving us holding a $100 scale in our hands. What a scam.
