Description

■ The "Dooru Library" was created through a partnership between The Foundation SeeArt and educational tech start-up Enuma. › The library is comprised of 124 Korean books and 84 books in other languages, making a total of 204 books categorized into 6 levels.  › You can choose between various levels starting from level 1, which contains short words and sentences, up to level 6, which is perfect for 1st and 2nd graders.  › The books cover various topics, such as animals, science, food, life, nature, history, and adventure. You're free to choose whatever interests you the most.   ■ Kids can immerse themselves in books on their own, fully engaged in the topics of their choice. › The books have a "narration" function that reads for you as well as a "highlight" function that points out where you’re at and makes reading easy for kids at any level.  › You can even tap on a word you don’t know to hear how it sounds.  ■ There are 21 books about Vietnam, China, the Philippines, and Thailand available in multiple languages.  › You can read the same books in Vietnamese, Chinese, English, and Thai in addition to Korean. › The stories and illustrations really come alive since they're written and illustrated by natives of the specific countries.  › The various books cover subjects ranging from mythology and fairy tales to modern civilization and culture.

  • Pretty great Reading app

This is one of my most favorite apps to learn Korean with, the ease of reading the early level books is cool because I’m still learning to recognize the Hangul characters and the stories are really interesting too

You have to use earphones to listen, otherwise there’s no audio. It’s rather inconvenient.

It would be nice if there was English translation so I can practice the words, no romanization needed.
