alias: sell sneakers + apparel

I recently sold a pair of shoes on Goat through Alias. I’m very disappointed with the process. I sold the shoes, shipped them on time, and then awaited my funds. The funds were sent to my Alias account and I was now able to transfer those funds to my bank account. I entered my bank information and awaited the funds to transfer. However, despite multiple emails from alias saying the transfer was successful, I didn’t receive them. I emailed with Alias requesting help. Someone emailed me back and said they would look into it. I thanked them and waited for their response. They weren’t responding and I never got an answer back. I emailed them a week later and still got nothing. Alias has been ignoring my email for a while now. I lost my shoes, got no funds out of it, and Alias won’t contact me. Do not sell on this app. You’d be better on StockX or Ebay

Not sure if its just me but notifications are disabled and there’s no way to toggle them on since the option doesn’t appear in iOS settings. Toggling options in the app does nothing either.

I’ve sold many items on this site, but beware of the common inspector who will scam you and say new items are scuffed. Very badly managed company and crazy shipping charges.

Confusing consignment process in alias app. I was told to take picks of my items so I did. Then I see AFTER I consign and pack my items that I must take pics inside app? No notice? Nothing in the step by step process? Then I have to pay to send it to GOAT/Alias? Why not tell me that from the beginning? I would have kept these at home until ready to ship. Ridiculous process. ANDDDDD they won’t refund the insurance you buy once you realize the above. Total joke.

No way definitely a scam I sold my brand new never worn not 1 time gets to Goat and they say it’s used. I spent 20 bucks just for a box and tape now I’m charged 15 bucks to ship it back to me. What a waste of time.

It’s actually a really good app… they just take most of your earnings so there’s no way to make a profit without overpricing.

I made a purchase on GOAT, and after using the shoes a while (enough time for my feet to grow) I tried reselling the exact same shoes to which Alias stopped the order and called the shoes inauthentic if this is the case GOAT sold me fake shoes.
