Description

MIDI Recorder with E.Piano simply performs record/playback as you input MIDI signals. You can record your performance completely. As a bonus, the app includes FM E.Piano sounds. Also there is an on-screen keyboard, you can make a note of your idea anywhere. All features are available without subscription. - You can toggle kinds of signals to record. - You can select MIDI channels. - By default the app processes signals from/to all connected MIDI ports. - The app makes files of Standard MIDI File Format 0. - iTunes File Sharing and iCloud are supported. - Virtual MIDI is supported. - Supports external MIDI keyboards. MIDI is a standard about controlling audio devices. You can control musical instruments with separately sold MIDI adapter for iPhone/iPad. The internal FM synthesizer processes only note on, note off, and sustain control, and ignores the others. Attention: This app may sound even if the silent switch is on. Do not hesitate to write a review if you encounter some troubles. Terms of Use: https://www.kiraqtech.jp/termsofuse/

Super great app! Works flawlessly with my Casio WK-6600 midi keyboard! Recording works, I can control midi inputs and outputs, even the piano plays the recording from my device even when my devices volume is off but my pianos is on. I just have to press play on my device and watch the magic happen! Great job!

This app is perfect to use as a MIDI sequencer for organs! But… please, please, PLEASE add a playlist feature that could play multiple files in a row!!

This is by far the fastest most practical way to record a midi chord progression or idea on the fly on the IPAD …love this app!

I’ve been looking for a MIDI recorder for iOS for a while, but I avoided trying this one because of the low amount of reviews. Eventually I ran out of other options and downloaded this app. I’m surprised - and relieved - to say that it works very well! I’m only using it to record MIDI files on my keyboard, but for that feature alone this app has earned my 5-star rating!
  • Import files please

Please add an import button to import external midi files, which can then be played out of the app.
  • Works well when it works

Does fine, but after a while the new recordings that I am making come out jumbled. Simultaneous scales are not synced in the file. Also, what do CC, SYSEX and OTHER buttons do?
  • Learning curve to use

I’ve recorded a couple of songs. I can’t figure out how to play them back now. When I press on the file, it just starts recording more. I’m very confused right now. Also, I can’t figure out how to turn off the sound coming from the app so that I only hear my piano. I don’t see the option to do so in the settings.

Update: Is there anyway you can add a function button to repeat the midi once it finishes it starts again? Like Play Once, Repeat, or Playlist? —————————————————— Really loving the FM sound you added! Could you please add a repeat or loop funtion/button? It would be nice to be able to record something on the fly and leave it looping. You could later add a playlist function so it continues playing other midi songs one has made or other midi’s one could import. Keep up the great work!
