How many documents, folders, templates, photos attachments, etc. etc. etc. do you actually use contantly everyday and want at your finger tips? Two clicks and you are anywhere you want to be no matter how many TB you have. Use this at least every 10 minutes during the day. When I read reviews who can't figure out this brilliant little powerhouse, It makes me wonder if they know what they have here. AND a company that isn't wanting a subscription! **********

A Great App that unfortunately seems to have issues with Monterey on M1 Macs. It works fine under Monterey on non M1 Macs, but on the M1, I click on App and nothing happens
  • Why call it FIle Cabinet?

When I purchased this app, I thought it would operate LIKE a file cabinet. That is, being able to select a drawer where files are placed. Having the ability to place files in separate "drawers" is what a app like this should be desined for. Perhaps changing the name to "File Trunk" would be the thing to do.

Thanks for quick response and update, finally it alligns with all other icons in the menu bar. i also suggest this should be controlled from the app settings rather control click, as i dont think new users read the release log!

I love the utility of the app. Having access to my files right from the menu bar is great. My only suggestion for improvement would be to integrate the favorites sidebar into the main window (like it is in Finder) and make it expandable/collapsable. It's not aesthetically pleasing having the favorites in a separate window hanging off the side of the main window. Other than that, great app!
  • Essentially Finder?

I honestly can’t figure out what makes this any different than using finder folders on your computer. I need a way to cross reference data and tag them for easy search and organization over years of paperwork. I might as well just use folders on my desktop cause this seems to only add an icon to the top of my machine so I can drag and drop files into one big mess of a location? Not worth it in my opinion.
