  • I made a mistake

This isn’t bad game. It’s as good as the second. Almost. I made the mistake of playing the second first, and then buying the first without playing the free version. The lack of a dodge button really made it painful to play—only because I kept reaching for that empty spot where it usually is. But again, that was my bad.

Levels were a little too easy and repetitive for me. Breezed through this but would be good for a younger audience.

Controls just feel awkward but I think that's just the curse of touch screen for me. There's a part in the end of 2-13 right before getting to the totem, where you have a timed challenge but the attack button covers up a rock that's in your way. It's not so bad in normal play but with a timed challenge it's a little awful. Game is not bad though

At first the game moves pretty slow and is fairly easy, but the fun and the difficulty start picking up by level 12. Great mechanics and concept. Of course it's not Zelda but then, what is?

This game. I wanted to like it. It's charming. It's got high production values. It's just not fun. Movement is slow and awkward, fighting is slow and awkward, puzzles are either way, way too easy or not that hard but convoluted. Great concept, great art, solid mechanics but a drag to play. Oh well.

Don't be fooled by everybody else's reviews, of course everybody is entitled to their opinion however I haven't found anything wrong with the game. Sometimes people expect too much in life. So far this game has been pretty enjoyable. definitely nothing like Zelda but it's pretty similar. If you like puzzle adventures I would get the game.
  • Problems keep it from being great

The game has some problems which keep it from being that much fun. The controls are too touchy and seem to lose calibration ( especially for movement) . Also the boss at the end of the first level is exponentially more difficult that a first level boss should be. After about 10 tried, I just quit. And I usually love games like these. It is too bad, the graphics are nice... I think the two issues I mentioned have kept this from selling. I would suggest that the developers fix the controls, make the bosses not killer tough in comparison to the level just played through (not easy, but easier more in proportion), and to get people to try it, drop the cost down. As it is, with its problems, I cannot recommend this game.
