Could be good if it didn’t require a subscription. Why has everyone become so greedy

Regarding developer response: turning off the notifications in the system settings is not in compliance. The notifications need to have an option to disable within the app itself. The current version of the app is in violation of section 4.5.4 of the Apple App Store Review Guidelines. It is sending unsolicited marketing push notifications with no option to opt out from receiving such messages in the app’s UI, and it did it again today.

I’ve used previous versions of this app with a wifi OMBII dongle to reset the service indicator on my Audi. The new version of the app has removed the ability to connect to wifi dongles, which they have the gall to list as a new “feature”. I also have a Bluetooth dongle which the app also will not connect to. I’ll look for other solutions, since you clearly don’t want me as a customer.
  • Dropped WiFi support - Cash Grab Shame.

Dropping WiFi support, eliminating current functionality, then offering their solutions at a cost is the definition of a bait & switch Cash Grab. Shame on you.
  • Dropped the Ball

Since Carista has dropped Wi-Fi support, and strictly now only offers support for their Bluetooth adapters, nothing works, app won’t even connect to their very own Evo (Bluetooth) adapter. At one time this was a great app. If you have Wi-Fi OBD adapters, they are all useless with this app now, but then again, so are the Bluetooth adapters at this point because they won’t even connect.

The app used to support my 2005 Lexus. Worked fantastic. The app maker has dropped my car and now it doesn’t work. What a waste. Not cool Carista.
  • Just purchased overpriced Evo adapter, returned within 24 hours

What happened to the free trial offer within the app? My trial expired the same day, then locked me out of the app and forces me to pay again for a product I just bought?
  • Very disappointed in the removal of WiFi adapters

I used to love this app, and was an early purchaser, but now will have to find something else. First it seems I can’t use the app without making some kind of app, and I don’t seem to be able to restore my original purchase anymore. The removal of WiFi adapters is really annoying though, and I can’t seem to downgrade, just recently this app was working fine with my purchases and my adapter. Overall very upset, I guess I’ll have to find something else now if I can’t downgrade.
