  • Latest Update Completely Tanked The Sevice

    The recent update they pushed out has been the poorest excuse for software I have ever seen. You can’t get to anything whether it be live TV, the guide, your recordings, etc. I’ve spent way to much time trying to watch something, anything. All I get is a spinning white circle on a black background. When I do get a fleeting glimpse of video, it’s pixelated like I have 1 mb service. My service is fiber to my house, 1 gig up and down. Everything else is rocket fast. My AppleTV is also connected to my network with a wired connection and not connected via wi-fi. What has always amazed me is that on equipment with lower resources, FuboTV has worked pretty well, but on AppleTV where you have considerably more horsepower than most streaming devices, FuboTV has sucked. Normally, when others have pushed out something this bad, they would roll back and push out the previous and go back and see what went wrong. Not FuboTV. Two weeks and the issues keep going. Their description of this release was bug fixes and stability enhancements. If I wasn’t paying a lot of money for this, I would be laughing as it’s the most unstable and buggy thing I have seen. If I could go back to the previous, it wouldn’t be ideal as it was aggravating to use with its constant locks freezes but you could actually watch TV. This version has made that pretty near impossible. Add the fact they have no way to provide feedback to them, but they direct you to the various app stores to leave a review. Did they think this through? My review and the loads I’ve seen posted since this came out will be showing up to prospective customers for years, even if they get their act together. Over the past year I have been looking for an excuse to cancel my subscription as the price has been steadily increasing every few months the past couple years. This will finally make me do it. Really, unless you like paying to stare at a white spinning circle on a black background, stay away. Far away.

    I’m leaving Fubo. I’ve been with them for years. I’ve put up with them as they’ve gone from affordable to one of the most expensive streaming services. They say they offer more channels but it’s nothing good or worth watching. After this update I’m done, it’s the final straw. You can no longer turn on your TV and watch a show. You now have to go through multiple steps to get to the guide. Once you’re at the guide you still have to go through multiple steps to watch a show. Once you decide on a channel and select it you have to go through another step and confirm you want to watch that channel. It’s terrible and frustrating. They also dropped the switching back and forth between two channels. You used to be able to long hold and automatically change back to a previous channel. Now you have to go back to the guide, scroll to the previous channel, select it, then another screen pops up and you have to choose watch or record. I’ll say it again, THIS IS A HORRIBLE UPDATE! I originally chose Fubo because watching it was the most similar to watching over the air live tv. Now it’s just ridiculous. I’m already downloading and trying out other streaming services free trails.

    I wanted to try Fubo..didn’t need much for tv other than sports so I picked the $79 package. After the free trial I was going to keep it but then was charged $98. That’s ridiculous for added fees!

    If I could I put zero on my review. Do not purchase this if you are looking for your true local news. The (local) news hosted by a gal named Sasha pulls articles off of CNN and we here in the Midwest could give a &$@? less about New York or CNN. Waste of 90$ for over a year. Waste your money unless you’re a sheep that falls for the left’s political ideology. Better off streaming a Northeastern service. Not even going to start on the buffering etc…

    I left Sling for this streaming service and this recent update Fubo did now has me looking to leave it. Fast forward worked fine before the update and the UI was great. Too bad Fubo doesn't operate under either or both of these sayings: If it ain't broke don't fix it and sometimes less is more. Hint: clear streaming and easy function is what most people want.

    Update 04.15.24 - after playing around with the multiview options, they buggered that up as well. Used to be so easy to set up different views in multi view. Now they’ve made it very complicated. And what the heck is saving multiview? Why the heck would you want to save multiview. I don’t know why they had to mess with this app, but it was a really nice app to use and now it’s so complicated and so counterintuitive on the Apple TV that it’s really just sad What did you guys do to the Apple TV app? This was a great app, easy to use, but you had to change it and make it more difficult to use. First and foremost, you removed the return to the prior channel feature. You used to be able to hit and hold the enter button and you would return to the prior channel you were watching. That is gone. No idea if it’s still possible to do that. Second, when you pull up the guide, now you have to hit enter twice to watch the channel. Hit enter once, you get a list of options that open up. that used to happen if you pressed and held the enter button. And when you do press, enter on a channel in the guide. There is no option to enter the multiview. This is really pretty messed up. Extremely disappointed with these changes. And you don’t even give us a guide or tutorial on the changes. Anyway, awful changes. A regression in the usability of the app. So disappointed.
