There’s no better way to get international coverage in a sober and succinct format. The app is fast, and it never has bugs.

Half the time when I start playing the audio it’s for the previous day. Why do they offer an audio option if they consistently don’t update it?
  • Essential Reading

I read Espresso every morning to get a quick and trusted sense of what is going on in the world. I also find the daily quotations that close out each issue to be thought provoking. I have lost count of the number of years I have read Espresso.

I love the app. Every morning while in having breakfast I read it, because it gives me an overview of the most important news una brief yet informed manner. Could not recommend it more.

  • App is 5/5, subscription is 0/5

The app is great, get it. However, lately the app has told me I don’t have a subscription when I’m paying for it via Apple. It then tells me to subscribe via The Economist (for more money than I’m paying on Apple). I have the receipts to prove it. This is a straight up scam and should be reported as such. The Economist should honestly be ashamed of themselves.
  • Fantastic, bite-sized packaging to avoid complete ignorance
