THIS WAS MY FAV APP IN 2017 and 2020 sometimes I wish I could reread true beauty guys its literally my fav but when I got the app again there was fast pass coins and you had to pay for coins I guess which I didn’t really like and it kinda annoys me a bit because the app as changed so much yall I kinda want it back to how it used to be ngl😕

I love this app, love the multitude of stories I read on here. But if you so much as look away from the screen it’ll log out. I’ve managed to read most of a comic just to find out it had logged me out 2 chapters in and didn’t save my place! It is increasingly annoying having to constantly log back in!! I was hoping it would be fixed with the last update but NooOOOOOOOoo. I’m this close 🤏to caving and downloading the 30 other webcomic based apps out there.

The WEBTOON is amazing it’s just that I really the whole thing in a day😭 and I have to wait for the fast pass

I used to love reading webtoons a few years ago sure there were fast passes and you could only read what was available once a week but it was free and completed stories were awesome. Now why I’m writing this 1 star review when it should be 0 stars is because it has gone to far you cannot read more than 5 pages on safari and if you did read it will prompt you “hey here is a sneak preview of the the chapter but you don’t actually get to read the complete thing” and then promptly try’s you to get the app to read the rest. Witch you can’t because even on the app there is a chapter limit. That where the money schemes come in you can either go on this wild goose chase gathering coins or pay but then even if you pay you only have it for a limited amount of time. Tbh the webtoons now reminds me of WebNovel and My MegaNovel and how scummy there practices are. So good bye webtoons you were an amazing for my younger years now your just a mediocre website that nobody should go to. Reminds me of a saying “you either die a hero or go down as a villain” and your now a villain enjoying all your greedy money and exploiting people who want to read comics from real people. Do you even share the profits that your little run around generates to the creators of the comics or is it just a commission? That they get while you make money. Because back in the day everyone was hoping to be a part of the main page but now how many are leaving to your exploitative was.

Update the app so it tells you the entire story and shows all the pictures

This is the only cartoon/comic app I’ve used that is truly free. You can pay to read ahead of you want but it’s not required and you’re not bombarded with ads! You can do daily pass for some stories, but a lot you can read as quickly or slowly as you desire! And as a romance lover, there’s so many talented artists and writers to choose from! 10/10, easily my most used app.

I’ve been using Webtoon for six years now and never had a problem. Now within the past couple months EVERY DAY, MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY, I open the app to find it has logged me out for no reason. It’s obnoxious and a nuisance for the user experience. What’s the point of having an account if you’re going to forcibly log me out of it every time I try to access it????
