It helps me for practising and transcribing songs. A must have app!!" ***** "Get this. - I’ve been using the iPad version for a while and I must say I’m happy the Mac version is out. Got the moment it came out. You should do the same. I’ve tried all others; nothing compares. It’ll save you hours upon hours." ***** "Transcription Heaven! - I’ve been using Anytune for the last few months and find it an essential tool in my musical education. I’m not an employee but I have Beta tested this version. I used to use ASD but find Anytune to be much more powerful and very intuitive. I use it primarily to slow down songs and transcribe notes for my bass. The slowdown function works great and the waveform visualization makes it incredibly easy to pick in/out points for every bar. Combine that with the powerful filters and you’re set. The ability to add lyrics and have them scroll in real time doesn’t hurt, either.I also have this on my iPad. It’s as important as my bass itself. Thanks, Anytune!" Anytune is a great app for helping to figure out songs. Looping, markers and speed controls are very useful. Sometimes it has issues when opening files with the same names in different directories, such as stems, and it loses markers. Otherwise, it would easily be a 5 star product.

I use this app almost every day to transcribe and learn new pieces. This is one of the best learning tools out there for professional musicians, serious music students, and anyone who wants to learn a piece of music. I've been a professional musician and music teacher for 20 years and can't recommend this app enough.

I love AnyTune, and would be very sad if I couldn't use it to organize my tunes, slow them down, and learn new tunes quickly by ear by looping, marking and tagging. That said, it's showing its age and there are some rough spots in the UX with respect to keyboard shortcuts and organizing tunes. It feels like it's minimally developed at this point, not quite on life support, but not a font of innovation any longer. I think I'd pay a subscription if the devs would re-commit to progressing the program. And I hate subscriptions :-).
