Cannot get my two iphones to connect no matter what I do. They both have the same TeamViewer ID number for some reason, no way to change, no way to figure out what the problem is or how to fix it. Very unclear how to use, unclear instructions and help.

If you are going to use the free version, it will kick you off after being logged on for 1 minute. That’s because they think you are using the software for commercial use. Even after you tell them that you are using it between your home system, they still don’t believe you. Going to find a different software to do remote stuff.

I put in my username/password, accept the security prompt in my email, try to sign in again and nothing happens. It just sits at the password screen. No error messages. Nothing.
  • Love it but…

I love Teamviewer and have used it for over a decade. I understand that you need to make money… but I have NEVER eve rused it for commercial purposes, yet I occasionally get a message stating that they “suspect” it is being used for commercial purposes. There is no easy way to prove that I only use it to help my mother across seas… access my rig at home while testing things or help friends with their tech issues “without any compensation”. What the criteria is for teamviewer to “detect commercial use” us unknown and never explained. If this issue did not occur! My rating would be 5 stars honestly.

Used to use this all the time to help family members. Let my brother use my account to talk to his work computer. Big mistake as I think he ever used and it flashed my account. Now i can not log on to anything longer than a few minutes. I took him off my account and it has been half a year and still can’t use it. Had to move to a subpar option now when it comes to help my family… I am not buying a huge subscription for something I only use a few minutes a few times a month. Or that boots me off when I am trying to walk my mom through how to do something.
