Have tried to extreme painful measures including chat online for over an hour to connect my Roku and it just won’t happen … so disappointing as it’s the only reason I bought this device …

This system is pretty easy to use and integrate with your home. Hardest part was making sure everything was compatible

Google has ruined a beautiful set and replaced it with an ugly and plain setup. It lags a lot I have the newest phone as well as the fastest speeds I can get from my internet provider. It just totally horrible. I spent so much money for all thes cameras and they are horrible. I think I’m going back to cct cameras.

Half the time our ability to see and talk freezes or the connection drops. I don’t find Support very helpful either. The concept is great, cameras to check on very senior parents and the ability to talk to them without a phone they need to pick up is a great idea. However too often this doesn’t work even with good WiFi connections on both ends. I don’t know if it’s the app or the equipment but I would not recommend this Google Home Camera Surveillance System without improved service.

It is super aggravating to continue to have to retrain

Finally migrated from Nest because new Google Nest camera would not work with the old app. Very disappointing for easy camera access and functionality.

Expect better from Google. As a controller for Nest thermostats, this app is POOR. I’m shocked that it’s not better.

Even without the constant bugs in the app & planned obsolescent wifi, if it worked as intended, it's still an experience built for children. If you know what an IP address is, or are generally a grown up person who knows anything at all about technology, this was not made for you. If you are in late-stage dementia or an emancipated toddler, you will love the giant buttons that don't really do anything important, which you can press freely because any real functionality is hidden behind five layers (I just counted) of cartoonish menus. Worried about someone on your network with a laptop accessing your router? Don't, because you can't! You have to administer your own local network through a cloud-based app on your thumbs, instead of from a computer like an adult.

I used to use the Google Wifi app to manage my Google Mesh network. When the Google Wifi app functionality went away and I was forced to migrate to the Google Home app, the GH app couldn’t set up my network and was only able to identify two of about five other types of devices. Now I have no way to manage me network. Every iteration of Google products is worse than the previous generation.

I love that all my questions can be answered in one text I just think that is so cool and awesome
