True Pressure gives medical physicists quick access to ambient temperature and barometric pressure to compute the ion-chamber temperature/pressure correction factor (kTP). The app can read on-device sensors (temperature read from paired probe if available, pressure via barometric sensor or network service when supported by device/region) and also supports manual entry. Values are displayed in common units (kPa, mmHg, inHg; °C/°F; meters/feet) and the kTP factor is calculated versus user-set reference conditions (e.g., 22 °C, 101.325 kPa). Features • Current temperature and atmospheric pressure (with unit conversions) • kTP calculation against configurable reference conditions • Manual input mode for labs without supported sensors • Dark Mode support and large, high-contrast readout Important This tool is intended for qualified users. It does not replace a calibrated thermometer or barometer and is not a medical device. Verify readings against your facility’s calibrated instruments before use in clinical QA or dosimetry.
