  • Discrepancies

I am not sure how Noom calculates your calorie intake, but I have been in a calorie deficit and haven’t really lost weight. I’m always feeling hungry and these low density foods do not fill me up as Noom claims. The biggest disappointment is the food look up. When I use the food look up prior, it will label the food as yellow. Then I ingest it and log it in and then it is labeled orange. It is a discrepancy and inconsistency that does not allow for proper food choices. I use the food scanner to scan at the grocery store food items ahead of time. Again, I eat them and when I go to log them in, they come up a different color label.

I have done them all, and this is the first one that I feel will actually sustain me in the long run! Highly recommend.

This program is absolutely god awful. I’ve never been more disappointed with an app experience. At first it seemed alright but the longer I did it the more the advice was unhelpful, the psychology aspects of were incredibly disappointing and their logic faulty. Absolutely would not recommend to anyone. An absolutely scam and waste of money

The app itself is okay. Gives you meal plans and calorie counting but you can get that for free elsewhere I canceled my subscription and I was still charged $120 and they refused to give me refund or take my card off file. This is a scam don’t fall for it. This shouldn’t even be on the App Store.

Starting Noom was a great decision. Easy to follow, great information and has helped me jump-start the 20 lbs I wanted to drop. I will continue to remain a Noomer for the duration of my weight loss journey. I have lost 3.5 lbs in my first week. I have not been able to accomplish that in 2 years. Hoping with Nooms guidance I can keep it off

I like very much the logging and how it sorts out the category the food falls in.

I’m accounting for everything I eat and weighing myself daily. I can no longer stay in denial or be oblivious of what I’m consuming. I’m learning a lot about myself and my habits. Little by little I will achieve my goals and become the conscious eater I’ve always wanted to be. And I’ll rock that bikini on the beach and at the pool by summer! The guys will need a neck brace when I get through with them! 😂

I was amped the first time out. Lost 20 pounds, but being a vegan was probably short on protein. Gained it all back. Second Noom subscription is annoying (all the same algorithmic enthusiasm) but logging meals is truly helpful.

It’s a great tool, the support, knowledge, it encourages you to want to reach your goal in a healthy way. You log in your progress and you feel great when you see the results no matter how small or big. It has made me more aware of what I put into my body and how it affects not only my body but my mental health. Only downfall is that is very expensive for me for 6 months. Worth it if you can afford it.

This program is working well for me, I have done it before and have noticed they’ve made some changes. Some better some worse. I am not a fan of being encouraged to “share” everything all the time. I find it wildly annoying and a thinly veiled attempt at free marketing. That being said the meal logging system is fantastic and extremely helpful for someone like me who is not motivated by fat diets or restrictive eating.
