This app is pretty good. Me personally I love the courses where u have to practice it by saying it yourself. Anywho it’s not a BAD app it’s just kinda takes time. But the widgets are adorable! And I love how it reminds me when I see my Lock Screen! But sometimes Duolingo low key concerns me.

One of the Best and worst things about this is the double times two boost. Whenever a friend sends me one I have to use it right away so if I’m just going on there to do a quick lesson, I’m kind of stuck doing more because I have a 15 minute boost. I didn’t want to use. I’m sick of sending my friends 15 minute boost, which cost me 20 diamond only to find out that my friend couldn’t use it because they were in the same predicament. If you want higher scoring from me, Duolingo, you need to make it so I control when the times two boost is used and I should be able to bank, especially the ones that a friend bought for me. I went through a lesson and did not get the boost until after I was done and had to go. Solution might be to add a spot that you can bank your xp boost and “claim” it when you have time to use it.

  • I HATE THE HEARTS IDEA.

Okay so when I’m doing my lessons and I’m getting stuff mixed up, I run out of hearts. It’s super annoying because I’m just now learning Greek, and it messes me up because we only get what 5 CHANCES?!? And if we can’t afford the unlimited hearts then we’re out of luck. Duolingo is super cool and fun but this is just outrageous. Especially for beginners who are definitely going to need more than 5 chances/hearts. But overall Duolingo is a fun learning app and I recommended it but I hate the hearts.

  • Different paths on family plan

We pay for a family plan, and my husband and I study together. He has been moved to a different path, and we are no longer able to study the same topics at the same time. We are losing motivation and interest because of this. We have submitted bug reports, but no one will help. Will not consider renewing our contract if this is not fixed.
