Some Disney PhotoPass Lenses may use information on your device to detect face & hand coordinates. The app may request access to your external storage to cache certain data for offline browsing.     Constant scrolling, scrolling, scrolling…. More scrolling and the in-app menu isn’t in simplified bubbles or square icons for ease of use. Plus when it comes to making dining-reservations, (especially under “Plan My Day” the app doesn’t provide the restaurant options within the exact park you’ve selected. The assumption here is that you’re booking a reservation at the displayed eating areas within that park but in reality, it’s a mix of diners from Every park; not just the one you’re currently at. Thats where you have the mistakes that are propagated when the user realizes the dining reservations they’ve booked aren't even in the park that they’ve selected for “Plan my Day.” Colors aren’t really used here for memory/organization to help with purposeful intent with the app. They’re kind of all over the place making it difficult to keep proper track of plans & navigate. This is not an app that you can “simply use” while walking amidst and immense crowd in one of the parks. You have to “do your homework” with this app and sift through the concept of the app to better understand what everything is and what they do. It’s 80% there, just the confusing layout needs simplifying… Apps are supposed to make life easier. Plus there’s no GPS directions for your device to guide you to the locations you want to visit within the park. (?) We spend a lot of time just roaming around looking for specific attractions we already had in mind/on our personal itinerary. Less is more and better than scrolling to find where you’re at or what you want to plan with it. Respectfully, I’d almost rather not even use the app if I’m going to be wandering around aimlessly anyways. Using the app gives me anxiety, it’s supposed to be an app for everybody, not for just highly-coordinated people 😒

    If I go on a trip that someone else planned, why do I need to call the help desk to add my pass to the app? I get that this is a theft/loss prevention measure, but you could just send them a notification to confirm my identity. Even better if you could prompt them to send the members in their party the app and pass before the trip so that you don’t have to print the card, streamlining the admissions process. This could eventually evolve into a locator feature where groups can see where each member is, roughly. Please include dual party consent.
