Description

Twitch is where thousands of communities come together for our favorite streamers, for the games we love, for the lulz, for each other, for whatever. Download Twitch and join millions enjoying live games, music, sports, esports, podcasts, cooking shows, IRL streams, and whatever else crosses our community’s wonderfully absurd minds. We’ll see you in chat. Here’s a convenient list of other awesome things about Twitch: Everyone is “about” community. We actually are one: Whatever you nerd out about, you can find your people on Twitch. Give support, get support: Find new streamers and subscribe to your favorites. Plus, unlock exclusive perks for your support. Start your own channel: The Twitch app is one of the easiest ways to start streaming. Just create an account, go live directly from the app, and bring people together around whatever you’re passionate about. You never know what you’ll find: Popular games are always live, but so are music festivals, rocket launches, street tours of Tokyo, and goat yoga. Yes, really. Dark mode: Y’all love this one. Black and purple have never looked this good together. Twitch's Terms of Service are available at https://www.twitch.tv/p/legal/terms-of-service/ For feedback and assistance, please visit our Support Center: https://help.twitch.tv Please note: This app features Nielsen’s proprietary measurement software which contributes to market research, like Nielsen’s TV Ratings. It’s intuitive easy and fun
  • Still broken since October of 2022.

    1. Add timestamps to whispers 2. Revert the “block whispers from strangers” button back to off when creating a new channel. If someone doesn’t want someone else texting them then the block button already exists for a reason. Turning this on by default isn’t user-friendly at all. 3. FIX NOTIFICATIONS! 70% of streams I miss because this app never sends me notifications when someone goes live! This has been happening for over a year! FIX IT! 4. Streams by default don’t save to a person’s channel anymore after they stream. Why did you change this? How are people supposed to know who is worth following when their channel is blank? Keep a person’s streams up unless they choose to delete them themselves. 5. After update 8.6.2, you force people to add their phone number just to whisper. Nah fam. I don’t want Twitch having MY number. It won’t even let me use a burner number either. Glad my phone is j-broken so I can downgrade the app again.
  • Great app but there’re to many adds

Twitch is a great app in my opinion but the only thing that makes this app bad is that you get a ridiculous amount of adds. You can get up to 10 15-30 second adds that you can’t skip. If they reduced the amount of adds the app would be perfect

  • Why do you have an update every other day?

Title, so annoying opening the app and getting told to update again for “bug fixes.”
  • Stop ruining the app with ads

Late 2023: There’s a giant ad on the top of the Home Screen now. One star. Apr 2024: there’s banner ads between the stream and chat now. The decline continues

  • UI bugs all the time

Want to scroll down on the list of channels on the left? Good luck, there are constant bugs that freeze that UI for literally 10 seconds, or turn swipes immediately into taps that change what you're looking at, or it will freeze entirely requiring force quitting the app. Genuinely a better (but still awful) experience using the website on mobile and skipping the app.
  • Good but…

I love twitch and watching all my favorite streamers and YouTubers live but there’s just to many adds for the people who don’t pay to have them removed sometimes I’ll get 9 adds at a time to I’m going to miss like 2-3 minutes of the stream every 9 adds
