All of the plugins I had purchased and been using disappeared after updating. Very disappointed and looking into other post-production software

My video production career started the day FCPX launched and I have never looked back. Solid platform to get editing done FAST.

I Love FCPX. There are times where it has given me issues but it is tried and true. Wish the bugs would go away for good but everything is a process. Would be 5 stars if I didn't randomly run into XML and Multicam clip footage not being able to be linked back to the original. Apple makes a solid product, yet it is not completely perfect. Looking forward to using it more and continuing to test the limits of this software.

  • FCP is totally unstable in Sonoma

Not sure what is happening at Final Cut Pro headquarters, but this is the most unstable, and scarry Final Cut Pro ever (10.8.1). On a brand new project, it is getting confused between "projects" (aka sequences). Erasing all edits in one; now assigning these edits to another. It's totally crazy.

Pretty choppy on the M1 Mac. Kind of surprised, I didn't think it would be.

I'm rating this five stars as a beginner editor. Final cut is simple to use and very straight forward. I thoroughly enjoy it and makes editing fun and simple. I wish they had a mobile version of it.
