  • Don’t raise the price anymore.

It’s price appropriate so don’t raise it anymore. Other than that is 5.0 baby.

We are always finding good hikes to do on this app
  • Can’t filter results

I just started my free trial. Apparently I can’t filter results based on distance from me unless I turn on location services. There’s no option to manually input the data. So, my search results based on my hometown net trails an hour+ away from me at the top, but not the ones in my town or surrounding towns (at 500 search results, I’m not digging through them manually). Instead I have to do some funky map zooming. I will be deleting my free trial.

This app stokes the fires of adventure. Vacation starts with AllTrails and planning which trails we can fit in. Filtering by difficulty, activity, suitability, and rating make finding a trail so easy. We have been using it for years and love it. Having a live map makes getting lost almost impossible.
  • When app works, it's good. Support is not good

The app worked well on my iPhone until it started sporadically stopping recording during activities. (I have the "paid" version of the service.) I did a good amount of troubleshooting, following the online instructions. I went further and deleted/reinstalled the app, deleted cache, etc. Finally I reached to support, which was a frustrating experience. It took 4 days to get a response. Even though my ticket was filled out completely, the rep asked for the info again, then gave me android instructions, then gave me iPhone instructions that don't align with the app behavior. Then they stopped trying. I need an app that's reliable and has good support. That's not Alltrails, unfortunately.
  • Great App with one big flaw

App is amazing overall. Lost a star as you can’t just leave the map screen on while doing an activity. It times out and goes to sleep. Not great when running or cycling in the woods.

I have used AllTrails for several years in several countries. It’s been several months since I last used it and so was pleased to see many great enhancements. Keep up the good work! I LOVE this app and I tell all my active friends about it.

  • Bad Map

The maps around my area are always way off. The trails are sometimes up to a quarter mile away from where they really are. There are even 2 trails that are not real trails, not even pathways, but are shown on the map, which makes it difficult to plan hikes or runs. Just take a screenshot of the trail system you are going to hike from your areas parks and rec website, and use the map the old school way. You will be much better off.
