HOW IT WORKS Most aircraft today are equipped with ADS-B transponders that transmit positional data. Flightradar24 has a rapidly growing network of 35,000 ground stations to receive this data that then shows up as aircraft moving on a map in the app. In an expanding number of regions, with the help of multilateration (MLAT), we’re able to calculate the positions of aircraft that don’t have ADS-B transponders. Coverage is subject to change at any time. CONNECT WITH FLIGHTRADAR24 We love getting feedback on FR24. I’ve used the app for several years. Since the last update it has started opening a pop up about every 30 seconds asking me to upgrade. It’s not basically useless. Too bad. I used to enjoy it and use it regularly.

I absolutely love this app and use it 24/7. I actually get in trouble because of how addicting the app is. I would totally recommend this app to anyone who loves aviation. 🛫✈️🛬🛩️

Only thing is I can only do it on my phone or an app ! For some reason the planes all disappeared when I used a computer ! Other then that it is the best app by far for tracking flights; especially since I work for a major airline

Worked fine until about a week ago, won’t pull up the ETA for active A/C, just says “estimated” with no time attached. Still shows the active flight but no ETA…..isn’t that the point?
  • Great system

When tracking family member flights it gives you the latest info and saves us time when we should head to the airport instead of wasting time sitting in the airport!

Shows me where every single plane is and is very cool and entertaining. The only thing I want is for it to show the path the plane is going on when you click on it

This app worked great when I first got it a couple years ago. Now if I see a plane or helicopter fly over, and open the app, it never shows it.
