This is the pop culture of finance apps. It rarely has insightful articles and C level chat guests.
  • Not crazy about portfolio 2.0

I have really been loving the yahoo Finance app for years now! I especially like the “holdings” tab inside each portfolio list because I can customize as to what properties I want and then can quickly see all the information including market value for everything I have in the list. Portfolio 2.0 does not offer customization and only shows one property. I am not looking forward to upgrading to 2.0 at all.
  • Hope can choose between the original version & the version 2.0

The new version 2.0 is not easy to use! The original version has been used for many years and deserves **** . The stock part is very good, and if it can be added with bonds and cash, it will be perfect. However, the new version 2.0 requires you to enter the purchase price of the stock at that time, otherwise the original input value cannot be changed. It is too troublesome to find the purchase and sell prices after so many years, so the 2.0 version can only be given * . I hope it can be modified to the original version and 2.0 version, allowing users to choose between these two according to their needs. Thank you!
  • Liked the old version better.

  • The new holdings chart is useless

I don’t want a doom scroll down an endless list to see my portfolio. You literally ruined a good thing. I want the same view as the Details chart. That was clear and understandable and industry standard.

  • All the news is from a democrat point of view

The title pretty much says it all. The politicians are doing what they can to keep an. economic depression. When Donald becomes president and the market crashes, he will simply blame it on Republicans. This is fake news just like CNN. I would love it for these authors to actually pick up an economics textbook to show them that their policies go against principles of economics.
  • Syncing Issues

I use this app daily and am so grateful to have access to it, however, for the last year there has been a syncing issue that has gotten progressively worse. Since I don’t make big changes it wasn’t a big deal at first. But over time I have made some new acquisitions and lately a few reallocations. These shifts in funds have not been accurately demonstrated in the app. This means that the app is showing a totally different portfolio than what I have. I’ve had to manually add the new assets into a separate folder to follow them. This does not give me an accurate portrayal of my finances. I’ve searched for a fix but only seem to come up with things that place the burden on my end. For example, clear my cache. I find that to be the most basic response when a company isn’t working to solve the issue. There are so many people frustrated with this issue. Additionally, if you are aiming towards having all parties paying customers, it seems a better tactic to have an extremely good working app and charge in tiers. Personally, I would consider paying a small subscription fee for a working app over an app that doesn’t work. As it stands now, I would not pay for this app service. It is very unfortunate because this app is vital with the information it provides. I’m hopeful a fix or some support for this issue can be provided.
