  • Great, but no food scale compatibility

    PROS: It didn’t take long to get the hang of this app. Now I enjoy it a lot. I paid for a year membership to get the premium features after I committed to it and it’s worth it. CONS: Ironically, it doesn’t pair with any smart food scales. It also doesn’t allow me to program a recipe into here for when I make large batches of food and portion them out per serving. These are two big flaws that I’d switch to another brand if they had this.

    I cannot believe they took away barcode scanning with the basic app. You now have to pay for a premium subscription for a pretty basic function. Here’s an idea- if not enough ppl were paying for the premium subscription the way it was, maybe offer better features with it? Don’t take away the basic features to make ppl pay more. I will be transitioning to another app, Fat Secret, which is recommended by my nutritionist anyway.

    It has been quite a ride, I’ve used this app off and on for years. Finally I decided to use ALL the functions of this app, and in just 65 days I’ve lost 40 pounds, it’s a great tool. Use it!!

    This app used to be great even on the free level you could use the barcode scanner to speed things up a bit, but now it’s such a headache to track anything that I’m losing interest fast. I don’t have the time or the attention span to type in items and then scroll endlessly trying to find the one item that is actually typed in correctly so I can accurately track my intake.

    I do enjoy the ease of using the app so I stick with it. However, the basic nutrition content of items in the food log data base is grossly off, as well as the estimated calories burned w standard sets of squats and other exercises. I wish there was a way to time stamp the food entries to track my eating more closely. Love the positive trend notifications! Thats encouraging. Will continue use and hope they upgrade.

    Amazing app, very user friendly its important to track activity and calories for optimum weight loss. Highly recommend I have lost almost 50 pounds since 2022 and I am nosy 4 pounds away from my goal weight. Thank God for lose it!
