Find your perfect way to visualize regular expressions (RegEx), to accomplish RegEx unit tests within the playground environment, to search and replace particular RegEx components with code complete feature, to benefit from interactive RegEx cheat sheet, multi-level RegEx history, and more. We offer a free seven days trial of the app for you to explore all the features mentioned above without limitation. We hope that you’ll love the app. After the trial we offer three subscription options (one month, one year, lifetime) for you to choose to continue using the app. Main Features of ViRE: 1. Regex is finally really readable 2. Code Complete helps to find or recall the right operator (especially over the time) 3. Unit Tests allows to test your regex on the go 4.   • OK but help hard to find

    Once I closed the special ViRE window pane on the left I could not get it back and could not find help online either. Discouraging especially considering this is a subscription type of app. I also do not know how to import or cut and paste other text into the search area.

    This is a promising application, but I would like to see the developer integrate it with iCloud Files, provide an iPhone version, and sync ViREs between devices. Great UI, but basic UX.

  • Not for users already familiar with RegEx!

    If you are already familiar with Regex this app actually makes your own Regex harder to understand especially if you are familiar with the syntax. The "long" horizontal scrolling is actually very annoying. It might have been better with a tree style stacked view with no horizontal scrolling. It may be useful for someone trying to learn Regex and then justify the monthly or yearly subscription fee. For seasonsed Regex users one time payment apps like Expressions, Patterns are actually more useful to write and test Regex!

Going step-by-step in adding up to the initial regex and seeing how it is reflected in live mode was awesome. I recommend this app to those who want to substitute lines of code with an elegant and well-tested regular expression.

    This app came up really handy when I needed to search and replace various data formats in my customer roster to include social media accounts and contact details. It was easy to work with the large number of files at once and keep each phase as a separate editable step. There are not so many apps like this for iPad users and so I really appreciate the authenticity.

    Even if you’ve been using the regex for a long time you’ll learn a lot from this app. I’ve touched the regex a few times before but it always seemed to be a fairly complex thing to remember to add the operators, syntax, etc. Now with ViRE I finally will save myself a lot of guesswork. Stellar job.

    It’s an ultimate RegEx building and testing app. History, search and replace, data extraction, subs - all is there in the app and RegEx library (a pretty cool cheat sheet) is amazing too.
