  • It’s just ok

Doesn’t let you pull in recipes from the internet. When you manually creat recipes it doesn’t let you choose the serving sizes (ex. 6 servings). It’s ok if you eat a lot of pre packaged foods since you can scan the bar code. Doesn’t sink with Fitbit (uses the phone health app). I think there are free apps that have way more features.
  • Nice app but could use some improvement

I really liked the app at first, and I am going to continue to use it… But I think there could be some improvement. 1. There should be a way to click into an individual meal and view all of the nutrition facts for the meal as a whole (right now it only shows calories in that regard). Why track carbs, fat, and protein if you are not going to break it down and let people analyze it more than just by the day. I would like to see all the nutrition information broken down by individual meal as well. I am type one diabetic And it would be really nice to go into each of my meals and see how many carbs I ate rather than having to look at each ingredient and put it together that way. 2. For those days when you’re not using the app, there should be a filter to exclude those days from your average caloric intake. without that, all of the days where you have 0 cal inputted are going to skew your data and give you false results. There should also be an average carb, protein, and fat average daily intake. I’m kind of a nerd when it comes to numbers and these are all things that I would think A lot of people would find very useful and shouldn’t be too hard to implement considering all of the data is right there. those are my notes so far, would be great if somebody read this and implemented any of these changes. Again, I think the app is great, but just need some improvement.
  • Complicated food diary

I want an app I can enter what I am eating so I can journal my food intake. But this is something I need a degree in to operate
  • Not customizable

This app should consider your diet (carnivore, vegan, keto, etc) and adjust your macros accordingly. Also if you get fast food you can’t customize on this app. For example, if you ordered a salad and skipped the dressing it won’t let you adjust that. I scanned the protein bar I had and the calories were way off on this app. Just frustrating. My fitness pal app is way better.
  • Didn’t save my data!

The app shut down and wouldn’t let me do any entries. Finally had to delete the app and redownload it and when I went to log in it wiped all of my data even though I pay the membership. It’s also not user friendly when it comes to entering in foods from my recent list, You can’t track water oz accurately, and if you go to look at an item you entered it resets what you submitted servings wise.
  • Adding food is not efficient

Up to date iPhone 14- Barcode scanner has worked 25% of the time. Kroger’s simple truth items have not been located when searching. I added a few items, but the only serving unit options are ounce and fluid ounces. 2 stars because I like the fasting countdown.

There are a few things I’d change but better than paying for other meal trackers.

Good at tracking food and entering your own recipes or foods that are not listed. There should be a macro for people who have had bariatric surgery. I had the sleeve gastrectomy and my macros and calorie intake is different than what is typical for others. I would like to have a program that accommodates these differences as well.
