YES Network

It’s a shame that a world class team like the Yankees and their excellent TV Channel, the Yes Network, is associated with a such a horrendously awful and painfully annoying app. It’s basically unwatchable and unusable, between the constant ‘poll questions’ , interrupting nonsense and overdoing it with commercial breaks. As my Spectrum tv plan doesn’t let me use the Spectrum TV App (which is excellent by the way), to watch the YES Network away from my home WiFi, if YES was merely bad , I’d happily use it to watch in to the Yankees when not home. But sadly it’s far far far worse than ‘bad’. It’s unusable & unwatchable

Keeps asking to connect Apple TV! Fix this!

Of all the streaming apps I use, this one performs by far the worst. It’s disappointing.

Appletv app asks over and over again if I want to connect it to appletv. Connecting or not connecting just brings the prompt up again. Happens on all platforms. Makes it unwatchable.

After over a year of trying, I have given up on this app. If you choose to use it, please keep in mind you will be frustrated unless you live in the tri-state area and only use it in your home on an approved WiFi. Or, you can double pay and buy the app. And it still will not work outside the tri-state area. I would give it zero stars if I could.

There’s not much you can do about it if you want to watch Yankee games, but it is remarkably buggy and poor quality for an app created and managed by a business with so much money. Definitely the worst app I have downloaded on my phone and TV

Multiple login names App does not work well Instructions tell you to logout and cannot log back in

the video quality is terrible. every commercial sparkles, but the game itself looks like my uncle sent me the video from his 2003 Motorola flip phone. it’s so grainy and blurry you can’t read the score in the corner.

The app superimposes ads not seen on TV during free throws or home run trots, sometimes cutting off the announcers in the middle of a sentence.

This is my first season relying on subscribing through the app. It was fine for the first week or two. But tonight, the app the kept buffering and then finally crashed right before the 9th inning. So far I have not been able to log back in and missed the end of the game. I hope this isn’t a consistent problem! Or I guess I’ll cancel my subscription and just listen to the radio.
