Bartender's Choice Vol. 2

I’ve been getting into craft cocktails for a while now and have a fairly good collection of reference cocktail books. This app blows all of them out of the water It has an incredible selection of cocktails and the app works well to recommend drinks you may like based on some parameters (eg I’m in the mood for a boozy gin cocktail) I use this app very regularly and am terrified they’ll discontinue support for it and I’ll lose access to my many many favorite cocktails!! I would happily pay for a new app if they were to release a new version. Please keep up the great work.

I’m a huge fan and use the app all the time. However, I’d like to see new recipes added. I love boozy agave drinks and one can only drink so many Mance Ryders or Zone Amarillos. Would love to see some new stuff.

Pro: - Solid collection of recipes - Ability to make notes on recipes - Ability to solve the “idk what I want make me anything” statement that people say at the bar - Updates and new recipes - Historical blurbs Cons: - No personal notebook. I really want this app to have a personal note book so you can keep all your own personal recipes and so I don’t have to flip to my notes section of the phone.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago for if I’m in a pinch behind the bar. I hadn’t made a sex on the beach in years and it randomly was ordered, figured I’d use the app and they don’t even have it on there.

Love this app. Buy it, your cocktail game will thank you. Humble requests: 1. Please take advantage of all the UIKit flex rules and publish an iPad version. 2. Please take advantage of CloudKit so we can sync our favorites.

Doesn’t have a bloody Mary category etc.

I have a fairly well stocked bar and would like to have some direction to create innovative cocktails, so I bought this app for that advertised feature, but nearly every time I try to use that feature I get a ‘we have nothing to recommend, because it doesn’t narrow the choices at each level, and there are so many options it’s easy to hit a dead end 9 out of ten times. I was just trying to come up with a lemony vodka drink and got no results until I only selected vodka, and then 1/2 the recipes were for gin cocktails. I regret purchasing this app and I hope you can avoid my folly.

Great content! The usability is a bit lacking. It can be really difficult to trigger the menu to slide out or the back button. The area to tap is pretty small and it often takes several moments to navigate. Otherwise, full of good content and good formatting.
