Coach's Tactic Board App

I have used this app a lot for planning training drills and sessions, creating lineups and diagrams for my teams, as well as making animations. It just needs a few things to be so much better: 1. Add female players! I mostly coach girls teams and women's football is bigger than ever, we need female players. 2. Allow a third team to be on the field at the same time. Many training games use 3 or 4 teams but this only allows two. 3. Enable copy/paste and Ctrl-Z (undo) like every other app on the planet! 4. Include adjustable arc lines. Trying to make bent runs or volley lines with "freehand lines" just looks terrible. 5. Allow selecting and moving multiple objects at once. It takes so long to rearrange a field one object at a time. 5. More field colors would be great.

This was a great app for creating a still example, with lines and objects. However, when creating an animation, moving players into position, and then drawing lines to where players should go was where my real problems surfaced. The lines created in the 3rd image show up in all the previously captured frames, and when I delete lines, they go away from all the frames including the only one I wanted lines in. Hope there is a fix to this soon.

I upgraded to the "Pro pack" to get access to a few more features and that helped with some problems. But, the most frustrating part of this app is the inability to remove objects once you've placed them. I end up with either recreating the entire board which is frustrating, or putting them off to the side where they can still be seen but aren't on the field. I've accidently clicked and added an object in the middle of an animation and wasted a ton of time. Also needs easier integration with iOS app. I want to be able to create animations on my computer then show them to my team on my phone. It's possible, but not at all easy. If those two things were fixed it would be five stars in my book.

This is a great app to create animations to illiustrate the play on the field. It has really helped my team. Nice companion app (sold seperately) for iphone. There are several bugs that need attention, but they should not stop you from purchasing. You can work around them but you have to be patient. They are isolated in the setup of the application and not creating the animation. Also needs the ability to remove a player from the field once they have been added. It would also be nice to access your saved work using the phone/ipad apps. Keep up the good work though and do buy this app as it does help out a lot.

I like the app. I think $27 is steep for this but even so the upgrade does not even work. Try to upgrade several time with no success.
