Description

Infor SyteLine Service is an advanced mobility solution designed to streamline the work of field service technicians. The solution is tightly integrated into Infor SyteLine and can be used in both online while connected to a network or in offline mode where connectivity is not available or not permitted. Infor SyteLine Service supports the three primary service flows available in SyteLine including the dispatched appointment, call center incident and assigned service order flows. With Infor SyteLine Service, the technician can update various statuses through the service engagement life cycle as well as enter materials used, calculate labor hours and record miscellaneous expenses such as travel, lodging or other unexpected items. To assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution, the technician will have access to customer and equipment history as well as the ability to attach pictures to further document their work and quick access to other technicians in the field to share ideas. Infor SyteLine Service supports GPS tracking to assist dispatching with finding the closest technician available as well as quick access to the devices mapping application for directions to the customer’s site.

    Fully able to do the range of activities in the field, and the CSI Dev team continues to add more features as we go on. Sync is much improved, and we can use UETs now. Only reason to dock a star is that two of the releases have broken features in synchronization, when we can’t run transactions consistently it’s hard on our service fleet and coordinators. Worlds better still than the excel sheet it replaced.

    Whatever you do, NEVER click “Clear Local Database. It will break it every time. Have to rest the phone and reinstall the OS to recover. I agonized over this three times to see if it is repeatable. Happens every time. Stays stuck in a constant state of “Initializing...Please wait”. Or, you get various random errors that make no sense. Android app works better. Also seems unreasonable to require pricing to show on the Work Order. Should be a show/hide checkbox for whether or not you want pricing to show.

    There are times where i have spent over 30 minutes writing up paper work only for the mobil app to crash and i lose everything.

    We were surprised with the depth of this field service app that is for infor CSI. We have increased our speed to invoice with onsite mobile signoff, used the gps feature to creat optimal routes, and ensured our inventory on truck is right sized. Great product and the best we found that is integrated to comprehensive ERP
