Assistant is telling me to update and find the update in the “PlayStore” however in the Apple AppStore there isn’t an update available. I have un installed and reinstalled. Wiped settings and reset. Checked all WiFi settings. Nothing worked. The listed features in this app pull up a blank screen: Calendar, Continued conversation, Family Bell, Food, Notes & Lists, Photos, Podcasts, Radio, Reservations, Stocks, Transportation, Weather, Wellness, and Your Places Also when I try to set a reminder on my mini it tells me “I need your permission to allow assistant personal results on this device. You can change this in Assistant settings.” However I have personal results enabled for all my devices. Super upset I swapped from Alexa to this.

I want to like this app because I’ve had an excellent experience with the Google Assistant on android devices, however, on an iPhone, I can’t even get the settings to open to update my about me information and stuff like that or to select a default calendar or anything it’s none of the features. I really want to use this app for our available to me.

It asked automatically to play music. I did nothing to make it do this. Now I’m stuck listening to music I don’t like.

I have an iPhone and when we I give a request, for example "Play the News", it starts playing but it states " You need to get the latest version of Google Assistant to show this content". However I do have the latest version of the app.
  • Waymo and Assistant = Toxic Relationship

I hate that I have to download an app in order to full use the functionality of another app… only for the secondary app to not work at all in its sole function of streaming Spotify in the Waymo. Possibly due to iOS 18 update

The voice only works if the app is not in the background.

It appears that most of the functions of this app don’t work with iOS18. And as a new update hasn’t happened in four months I wonder if it will.

I used to use this to control the lullabies on the Google Hub in our daughter’s room in case they shut off (our internet is spotty so they frequently do) so we don’t wake her up by walking in there as she’s a light sleeper. For the past month or so it’s said to update via the Play Store when I try to use it. I’m on an Apple device and there’s no update available so I’ve been unable to use the
