    You can see what is coming up in the next hour. You just see what program is currently on. The worst experience. Bring back the old live guide.

    There are a TON of problems I won’t even get into. What really bugs me is having to log into the TV account like every few days. I pay for this darn service (with another price hike). I want to turn on the TV and watch. Same TV, same location but guessing it’s their way to verify you constantly. Now app on phone doesn’t always work, just spins and spins. Have to get up and go to the computer to log in my TV. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Problem, too bad.

  • Wants a copy of my drivers license

    It’s nearly $80 with fees and taxes per month. It offers tennis channel two, but for some reason not tennis channel one where the live commentary is. If I use the setting that tells it it doesn’t need to ask who is watching because it’s only me, it starts making me sign in again much more often. Which on a Roku is time consuming. But my biggest complaint, and it’s happened twice already, after you’ve used YouTube TV for a few months, it’ll stop taking your money one day. It will make it seem like there was an error with the card you’ve been using for months. But then if you investigate (it will not be obvious) it will tell you that YouTube tv will not take your money until you verify your identity and location. The only way to do that is to submit a copy of your drivers license to Google. Also it will not accept if your address on your drivers license isn’t current. If the ip location address is not the address on your drivers license you can not reconnect service. There’s no customer service who can bypass this. I stayed on the phone a whole Tuesday to find out that. They should not need to have a picture of your face and government name and current address to sell you streaming if you’re paying for it and they are tracking how many devices are accessing service simultaneously. It’s basically conventional cable but much less convenient , with less variety and it wants your data more than it wants your subscription money

  • Closed captioning in the middle of screen

    The closed captioning appears on the middle of the screen and usually covers up the face of the person that is actually talking. This doesn’t happen all the time seems to be more related when you’re viewing the live guide and then go back to the show you were watching the close captioning is in the middle of the screen.

    Constant bugs, slow, never gets meaningful updates. Truly terrible.

    I really want to like this app on iOS. It works so well on our Roku devices. But on iOS it will randomly stop all the time saying it needs to be unlocked. And then it randomly decides to change your current viewing area and there’s no way to set it back. It’s flakey on both my iPhone and iPad Pro. And being Google, any requests for help or try to send a bug report is ignored.

    V8.16. Again, please continue to send zero stars ratings their way until they turn around from zombie land and put up sensible comments with the update. Bad reviews are seen all over too. Pathetic to see version history! Lazy and unprofessional.

    No longer a promoter! Total detractor for this service. Your updates are making this a total crappy experience!!!! You did some stupid update and I lost all of my customization to the channels and now it doesn’t do anything. AND how do you watch live TV when all you see is the channel description with noShows listed? I guess we’re supposed to guess or have the guide memorized? What use is that? None!!! If you’re going to make this app any crappier I can get crappy service anywhere.

    I have a number of shows and custom tv list but all of a sudden those swings are no longer available on the IOS app but I can see them on my home tv. Seems like an app glitch.
