Have to pay to see waves

This app is awful so many judgmental moms who are just plain rude! Got banned by the app for stating my opinion on an issue, which is fine because I will never use this app again! I got ban for hate speech when there was nothing hateful about what I said, however, others have posted stuff like, that they think one race is better than another (clear racism), others posted on some other mom’s post about how they’re an awful mom, and there child deserves to be taken from them. I even saw a few post about someone saying whether you believe this or not they believe abortion is murder but will continue to do it so they are proud that in there eyes they are a muderer of babies! Just an awful place full of rude and hateful comments & people not all but majority! Glad I got reported by someone because I’ll never use this app again better supportive non hateful mom groups out there!

Biggest downside is it doesn’t allow to filter search by age. Only filters by kids ages. Which is kind of a big deal because age group dictates a large portion of connection.

Overall it’s an easy app to use! Easy to create a bio, make updates, and make connections. The downfall of this app? You practically have to pay to do literally anything. If someone waves at you to say hello, you have to pay to see who waved at you. You’re limited to so many “yes” swipes to attempt a connection in a day. Messages also disappear after 24 hours of no response which, as mothers, isn’t ideal. Not sure who designed that functionality but they didn’t consider the busy life of motherhood when they did. You would be better off using Facebook or other social media platforms to find connections than this app. Seems like they just want another way to take peoples money. Noteably, I haven’t dived into the forums or topics but based off other reviews, sounds like the company has some work to do and it’s even worse than social media. Buyer beware.

I guess this app does what it says but it makes me sad to feel further isolated from other women with this stark divide. I don’t understand how the only life stages are around fertility and family. I was tempted to say “trying to conceive” because I just want to make friends on an app that isn’t bumbleBFF. I would love to have more friends in general, being in my 30’s, I know more and more people having kids and I still would like to find things in common and hang out with them, haven had children or not. I’ll probably never be a mom, so from this side of life, I’ll just wish all the women the best of luck finding their people.

This app is good but there are so many like way to many judgmental horrible people on it, and half the women don’t actually try to make friends with anyone, most of them sit there and argue with someone over their toxic ugly viewpoint and on top of it we have to worry about men being on there or no pictures, info etc being on profiles so essentially either scammers, men or predators using an app for pregnant people and moms.

I do not have to participate in your app especially if your condoning death on girls that being sex trafficked. I can get your app removed and deleted. This app is for pregnant mothers and pregnancy not abortion adoption or death.

I didn’t sign up for any subscription and this app charged me $19.99. I don’t have an email notification for this purchase or any thing. I’m disappointed and have deleted my account because I was blindsided.

If you want to meet other moms you can do that here, but they’ve made it harder and the UX was better before they (I assume) raised their series A or B, started charging, and changed the interface. I much preferred the app before the changes; it was more functional and much more focused on making real-life connections with people. Now it’s mostly a mom social media app, which is really disappointing. If you want to pay $15/month (an exorbitant amount) you can see who “waved” at you. I’d rather they move back to the old format, reduce the feed, and just charge to download the app. Prior to the changes I made a couple of friends through the app, but post-changes it’s been a real challenge to get the same functionality out of it. I won’t pay $15/month for something that’s less than what I used to get for free.

All is full of predators And hatred from other women on the app. They do nothing about hateful comments either.
