  • Peanut discriminates

    By Jass09299
I got banned for simply protecting children against a woman who was saying children should be exposed to inappropriate things at age 5 and up. I was obviously disgusted and respectfully defended kids and that they should just be able to be kids. And because I had a different opinion peanut deliberately discriminated against me. The woman who I’m talking about was white and I am mixed with black and Hispanic. I’m never one to even pulling the race card but peanut really showed their true colors. She was also attacking other women standing up for children yet I was the one banned. So beware if you are a minority and you express your opinion, this will happen.
  • Cult app

    By Clearasblue
This app horrible it’s very disrespectful women on here and women talking about shooting another mother with a gun and speaking death on the mother kids and pregnant women , the women are really negative and one women got jumped after meeting up to have tea and lunch with her children that caused her to be rushed to the ER , it’s been times women set up mom to be raped even while pregnant, it’s also a lot of mom shaming on this app , so many women trauma dumping , a lot of drama he said she said , people talk too much , setting people up and it’s sad this is not good for mental health either this app is not what I’ll recommend it’s very unhealthy and on this app someone threaten my life and she is still harassing me and making threats to kill me—— this app is not safe and I’m so terrified for my life and my children
  • Peanut can be nutty & glitchy

I personally created peanut to connect with other mothers throughout all stages of motherhood and I’m a little disappointed with the app itself. It’s full of little glitches ( the engineering team doesn’t have a “feature request” function, the app goes out often and the team take a while to “verify your accounts” for unknown reason, especially when you’ve already verified with a photo of yourself before the ability to actually use the app) the pods (similar to live/voice pod-chats) can be full of drama, hate and division, no option for “type responses/ chats, limited emojis, and not ideal for android users. I would love to be apart of the MVP Ambassador program to implement ideas, suggestions and advocate for the app itself, however it takes about a month for any feedback or update. Overall the app gets 3 out of 5 stars dues to the glitches and the “under review without any explanation and/ or warning” along wit bias based opinions / “time outs”? As a former tech worker who’s worked for lucrative fintech startups who’s gone Public in Silicon Valley , the app can use more resources, functionalities , and solvable updates within a timely manner.

I am so glad i was able to come to one of these meetups! I made a new mom friend. Which is always a bonus.
  • Filters don’t work

    By Emixxia
This app offers a filter for kid ages. I have all teens and have it set for kids over 10 and yet all I see are moms with newborns. Wish this filter actually worked and there was a filter for mom ages. A 40yr old mom with teens isn’t looking for 20yr old mom friends with infants.
  • Very glitchy

    By MushieLady
I’ve had the app since its came out off and on. Just recently redownloaded it and it’s extremely glitchy. I’ll swipe no on someone and the next I’ll swipe yes and it’ll say I swiped yes on the one I swiped no. It’ll also not show anyone unless I restart the app. It use to be a good app met a few mamas but it’s drastically changed and not for the better.
  • Not that great with connecting moms

    By Starling2093
I’ve been in dating apps. This is worse. Why things happen on the app aren’t even clear. What does it mean when conversations disappear? A glitch? The other person blocked you? It’s all very confusing and frustrating. As for connections, I’ve made one lasting one in over two years using the app. Oh plus what they charge is a joke. Whoever developed this doesn’t understand the population. Poor app design and yet the $$ charge is fairly expensive for what you get.
  • Unsafe filled with creepy men and women also discrimination against races and counties

    By chubbykoalaz
Although the app is nice for advice and such there’s people stealing ultrasounds and peoples baby bump photos and pretending to be pregnant… there’s also weird men on the app who to my knowledge do and say extremely off putting things the women I dealt with who lie about the pregnancies seem extremely off and predatory be safe if u plan on meeting cause some of the women who I can tell are faking a pregnancy seem like they would kidnap and child or kill u for ur baby…. Another issue is racism and obvious discrimination against people with physical and mental disabilities also not to mention discrimination against different countries there needs to be more monitoring on this website and make it safer for people who have children, who are from other counties including the USA and safe for people with mental and physical disabilities and mental illnesses and also get rid of men catfishing as women with children cus ew
  • Updating my 1 star bc I keep getting banned for no reason

    By smb112
The people I charge of dealing with reports are biased bullies that shut ppl up for nothing to do with hate but everything to do with going against the grain even slightly.
  • Haven’t found anyone I think I would click with

    By Avroo7
As a young mom looking for more moms my age it is hard on this app. I live in Ohio and there are barely any ppl from my area. I keep swiping and seeing the same ppl over and over for a whole year. Very disappointed! & all of the ppl are a little interesting not really ppl I would associate with no offense. I think they need a different target audience for Ohio! I’m waiting lol.
