Overall really great but the fact that i need to pay for the next one doesn’t really seem fair to me.

lets you learn one snippet of a song in the beginning and then you have to get premium to do absolutely anything. premium is expensive and the app is not helpful. horrible.

Does not show actually played notes just wrong or right. Does not sort songs by complexity just 3 ratings. no loop feature in player. No indication of hand position change just finger numbers. Shows position in video below but as any video gamer knows humans cannot focus on 2 positions on screen at once.
  • Tempo ranges from 30-100

There’s a free 7 day trial. After that, it costs 149.99/yr or 12.49/mo. So it’s more expensive than Pianify or Simply Piano. Has three levels for sheet music - beginner, intermediate, and advanced. But some hard songs are placed in the beginner category, like a six flat song! The app has an optional metronome ticking. If you want the metronome off, you have to turn it off with every song. You can adjust the play speed tempo from 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, or 100. (The wide varieties of tempo is the only thing this app does better than Simply Piano.) You can play the full sheet music without the metronome, but it will also be without feedback to show you when you play the notes correctly. Songs dont get a star rating after you play them. You have the option of getting more personal lessons with a real human through video calls. I didn’t try this feature. Doesn’t allow for multiple profiles in the same app.

Everything needs a membership and free trial, it’s just not worth it. 🙁

Like the piano lessons BUT was wondering why my battery on my iPad suddenly didn’t last… figured out that even if I wasn’t using the app it is still listening and broadcasting!!!! Fixed it by deactivating the apps access to the microphone every time I am done practicing. Crazy…makes me wonder what they are up to.

Skoove claims to have 400+ songs, but I only have 153 beginner songs, 115 intermediate, and 34 advanced songs, so I only get 302 songs which is like 100 less than 400. Gimme more songs! 😤 Also the interface is very bad and when you scroll it “accidentally” makes you start a new lesson
