I’m single and in the Army living in the barracks. I want to eat healthier and cut out the costs from eating out at the Resturants every day. The app is showing me every thing I need to do to prepare healthier dinners. Thank you so much

Several ads pop up every time you try to look at a recipe. I couldn’t even find a recipe to try because of all of the ads.

Way to many adds that pop up one after another. I understand they want you to purchase the no add option but this goes way to far. You can not even look at a recipe

I tapped on one link and was asked to review the app. I closed that a couple times and had the advertisements pop up about 5 times and the “x” doesn’t seem to work right away so you have to look at the advertisements for a few seconds until it does work. So here’s the review so far. Calm the advertisements down. I’m much more likely to delete an annoying free app than I am to pay for it. Down to a one star now. I rated the app. Why are you asking again?

The English in these recipes is terrible. Other than that, there are way too many pop-up ads. Just trying to look thru some of the recipes was frustrating. Deleting

I don’t write reviews often. Tbh I didn’t really get a chance to use this app b/c as soon as I opened it, it popped up for me to review. I ignored it and clicked the categories - which prompted another pop up to review. I ignored it again, scrolled through quickly to see it did not have what I was looking for (side dish involving potatoes), I clicked back to the home screen only to get a 3rd pop up about reviewing this app. Having yet to use this more than 45 seconds, I am not ready to review. I closed it, clicked ‘search all recipes’ menu, which prompted an Ad that makes you wait during a countdown of 5-10 seconds, to then search. I wait, I type my query, I find a recipe I’d like to view, I click and get another Ad, with another timer. I’m done. I go back to the home screen and a 4th pop up to review occurs. I’m Ready Now! So here I am, you don’t give anyone even a few seconds to try the app and see if it’s user friendly or the content is helpful without jamming your Own ADs down their throats or a stupid Ad for a game that seems irrelevant to someone who is older than 13. I’ve deleted the app, there are plenty better out there. I would suggest allowing users a few logins with a few free searches to get a feel for your app and then bombard them so they can op to pay for ad-free. I however, will not be one of those users. Yummly is an amazing app, that crossovers to my iPad when I’m coming larger meals and I believe it is free, or very small fee to be AD free.
