    The app on a Sony Bravia KD model tv is really slow to react. It seems it was compiled as a debug without optimization, or an interpreter layer was used. Way slower than UTube, Netflix, Prime, or PBS even. The iPad and iPhone apps are as fast as I would expect. I prefer to not use the Genie on this our primary TV so I don’t have to keep switching remotes, which is one reason I switched from satellite Dish to streaming DirecTV

    I reset my login info and it’s says streaming error. The app is not working. It’s been several weeks. I reset all new passwords and nothing helps

    For the most expensive streaming service out there, this app is the least polished of the main providers. Dark mode for these types apps came around 10 years ago, and this app still will blind you with white while using it. Also, we have been running this on Apple TV 4K and it freezes up and needs to be continually closed out and restarted. Get with DIRECTV if you’re going to be charging the prices that you’re charging.

    Firewho ever is in charge of DIRECTV Stream and this app; the latest version is the worst of the bad. I constantly have to log in once or twice a day; I use to only get asked once a month with previous versions. Also having Bluetooth sound issues connecting to the car. It will not save my preferences. Asks to turn cellular on every other start.

    I’m gonna cancel Monday because I can’t receive any channels even though only one other TV is on in the house This is a common occurrence and I’m sick of the terrible customer service especially evening and night when most of the problems occur
  • Why no native app for Vision Pro

    I don’t understand why all the streaming services are not creating a native app for Apple Vision Pro. Media consumption is probably the best use case and something owners like me do more with their headset than normal. So it doesn’t make sense not to have DirectTv there.
